Shimelle.com ~ guest spot with a sketch!

Hi Guys!!!

I'm happy to share with you a sneak peek of what is over on Shimelle.com  today.

She has a bunch of challenges going on and it looks like a ton of fun!!!

I had the opportunity of doing some work for her last October 2013, so I'm thrilled it is showing today.

Skipping Stones Design ~ sketch #134

Hi everyone~it is time for Skipping Stones Design Tuesday Sketch {SSD#134} Challenge. You may just want to get in on this one~the sketch is GREAT!!!!! On my card I used Echo Park (love those mustaches).  Thought they went with the theme pretty good!!! I used the Margarita Birthday set on this card.

Skipping Stones Design~#133 sketch!!!

Hi everyone~it is time for Skipping Stones Design Tuesday Sketch {SSD#133} Challenge.  You may just want to get in on this one~the sketch is GREAT!!!!! On my card I used Scenic Route (I know) but I love using the old stuff up too!!!  The trim is by Ribbon Carousel , love those stars!!! Perfect for this card.

I used two of the Skipping Stones Design stamp sets on this card.  The bird is from the "Everyday Blessings" set and the "celebrate" word is from the "Margarita Birthday" set.

Skipping Stones Designs Blog Hop~

Hi everyone~Skipping Stones Designs is having a blog hop so they can show off their new stamp set called Breathtaking Butterflies :):):).  It is a beautiful set with four butterflies and six sentiment stamps.  Ten  stamps in the set.   This is the card I made ~

I  used My Mind's Eye, Jenni Bowlin Studios, Smooches, May Arts trim and the Breathtaking Butterflies by Skipping Stones Designs!!!

Gorgeous images!!! They stamp clean and give you a crisp image, just what you are looking for in a stamp!  We also used SSD #132 sketch, by Cyndi, for our card~

Try It Tuesday~Sketches!

I don't know about you but I love a good sketch!  It is a great starting point for beginning a layout and your having trouble with what direction you want to go.  Sketches are a good way you can easily find some direction.  You might start out following the sketch and then there you go ~ off on your own.  Sketches will do that to you~

This is the sketch from The Paper Bakery ~every week they will post a new sketch.  Grace does the sketches for The Paper Bakery and they are fantastic!!! You can also share your creation with everyone~just add your link on the blog!!

Another great sketch is over on Helmar's blog~Lydell is in charge of the sketches and they are fabulous!!

New Sketch!

I needed something to work on so I decided it was time for another , way cool, sketch. I have never seen one like this - so pretty and different. I want to put more than one photo on it, so I will change it up a bit. Hope you decide to get those photos and make this sketch your own. Have fun with it- is the most important part. So watcha waiting for - give it go! That's for you scrappy girls. You know who you are. hee,hee.
