FUN Card Making with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L~

 Hi guys!
Today I'm creating with Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L to make a
3D card . I'm using a die by Lori Whitlock/Sizzix.  The
pattern paper is by Simple Stories/say cheese main street
Collection.  The 3D Foam adhesives work great for these
types of 3D cards.  Really makes the card scream "SPECIAL".

I used lots of 3D Foam adhesive to add dimension to the card front.
I have the details over on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog.
I hope you will take a look. Such a fun project!
Thanks for stopping by~

Try It Tuesday~Pop Up dies are the bomb!!!!

Hi guys!!
A while back Karen Burniston had a design team call for 2019.  I decided
to submit my creations using her awesome Pop-up dies.  The reason I love
them is you can create really fun interactive cards using her dies with stamps, die cuts
or other paper craft products.  I didn't make the team but had a fun time creating
these cards!

This card is using #1015 House & Fence Pop-up die with Carved leaves Vol.1 by Darkroom Door.
See what I mean, stamps work so well with these Pop- up dies!!

I loved the platform on this card and that is the reason I bought this die. So many
ways to create with it. The cupcake can be cut down and an image can replace the
cupcake.   #1008 Cupcake Pop-up die with Stars , Happy Birthday,
Brushed Sentiments  by Darkroom Door and pattern paper.

This one was my favorite. I love the tent design. I think it is so clever and darling.
#1048 Tent Pop-up and #1049 Camping Charms.
I will be posting a short video of each card opening on Instagram
(so If you are interested follow me)
Thanks for stopping by for
and sorry I'm running late again.

Darkroom Door / Karen Burniston Blog Hop ~

Hi guys!!
I'm super excited to be hopping with Darkroom Door and Karen Burniston.
Showing you how these beautiful Pop~up dies work so well with the gorgeous red rubber stamps by Darkroom Door will be a blast!!!

I have created three card examples using these fun products together.
The possibilities are endless and so fun!!

Here is the front of card#1 But everyone knows with a Pop-up card
it is all about what is on the inside~

Products used:
Karen Burniston: 1056~ Squares-Crosshatch
Other: Ranger:Archival Ink
Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalk inks (shading)
Paper: Authentique
Scrapbook Adhesives ( foam squares)
X-Press It (high tack double sided tape) ~ a must!
wet glue

Card#2~
The front cover on this one, just kept it real simple (I love simple)~

I love shells, love the beach so I had to create a Summer beach card using the
House & Fence Pop-up die and Darkroom Door's Seashell stamps (my favorite).

Products used:
Karen Burniston: 1015~ House & Fence Pop-up
Other: Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalk inks (shading) and Adventure Waits.
Ranger: Archival inks
Scrapbook Adhesive (foam squares)
X-Press It (high tack double sided tape)

Card#3
I did one last card to show how valuable the floating floor is, that comes with the
House & Fence Pop-up die.  If you have the floating floor the sky is the limit.  You can use stamps, die cuts and ephemera to create the focal for the card.

Products used:
Karen Burniston: 1015~ House & Fence Pop-up
Darkroom Door: Coffee Time, Stitched Borders

Try It Tuesday~Pop 'n Cut cards, so fun!!!!!

Remember the class I took at Craft Crossing with Karen Burniston~these are the cards we made.  I'm going to show you four today and four next week~so let's get going for:

I don't know the names of the paper's we used, I'm going to be lucky to explain the Sizzix dies that were used, so hang in there with me.  This much I do know~these are addicting to make:):)
 no.#1
no.#2
no.#3
no.#4
I love how it all works together~what I mean by that is,  the older Sizzix die's can be used as the pop out or pop up part.  The embossing folders can be used to add texture to the fronts of the cards and the Sizzix Decorative strip's come in very handy when you want to add a dangling piece.

If you can think it up~you can make it work!!!
Have fun with these!!!!
See ya soon~

Avocado Arts~Stuck On You!!!

Hi stampers~how about some pop-up cards using this months super, fabulous stamp set called Stuck On You!  You are going to love it!!

Look at all of those cute images and the detail, just want you need, for pop-up cards.
For my first card I used the bicycle and built the card around that.   With a pop-up card it is what is on the inside that counts the most:):)

I used "enjoy the ride" for the sentiment.  It is on the inside and  the front of the card.
My second card~ I used the pin wheels, and made a banner from the bottom of the ice cream cone. I loved working with the washi tape image.  It looks so real~

The sentiment used " you BLOW me away" ~
My third pop-up card used the ice cream cones. I stamped them on white cardstock and colored the cone with Copic markers.

The sentiment on this card says " Thanks for being so SWEET "~
Loved this set.  So many great details that are perfect for this.  Great job Avocado Arts!!! Another winner!!  Thanks for stopping by!! cm
