Hi guys!
Toda is my turn to share my Sea Life cards I created
using the Sea Life Stamp by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.
I really had fun with this stamp. Kinda of jazzed it up mixed
media style:):)
The backgrounds are similar but different. I'll explain what I mean:)
Card #1

The background on this card is created with watered down
Distress Oxide inks. The mixed media paper was dipped
in the ink to get the effect of the water (ocean). The stamps are not
dimensional. Each image was stamped directly on the water
background and then colored in with Distress Oxide inks.
The image were outlined with a white gel pen. Pearls and a
sticker sentiment were added to complete the card.
Card #2

On this background I used Distress Oxide ink but applied it
differently. I used an foam applicator to apply the ink to
the mixed media paper. I added sprinkles of water to get the cool
water effects on the background. A stencil was added for the circles.
I used a white gel pen to highlight the images and the water circles.
The turtle and sea horse were stamped and colored independently,
trimmed out and added to the card front. Both cards used
adhesive by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

So informative! I’ll will have to try both techniques.
