Hi, Connie here with two cards using 6" stencils by Clear Scraps. Using stencils is an easy way to make cute and quick cards. The stencils can be used to create the background for the card or they can be used as the focal images on the card. I did both~
The background, for the cards, was created using Distress Oxide and then stenciling a pattern over the color. I went with blue tones to give a ocean look. The shells were stenciled on white cardstock and trimmed out, then layered at the bottom of each card. Buttons were added along with the sentiment. Twine was wrapped around the tops of the cards and tied into a bow.
Stitching was stamped on the sides of both cards and paint splats were added to the card front.
When adhering the trimmed out images, foam squares were added for dimension.
Supplies used:
Clear Scraps: 6" Shiplap, 6" Beach Fun and 6" Ocean Friends
Beacon
Other:
Scrapbook Adhesives/foam squares
Distress ink
Distress Oxide ink
Darkroom Door/stamps
Buttons Galore & More
