Hi guys~this post is all about the"hymnals"! My dad's hymnal collection~
This could easily be a Remember This post but it is Tuesday after all:):):) This is some vintage twine or heavy thread ~loved the look on the hymnal!!
I needed a base to hold my embellishments because I do not want to mess up the front cover of the hymnal. The cover is gorgeous "plain" to me. I cut the Prima card in half and that is what will hold my embellishments.
I weaved the card, in and out, under the thread ~ secured it to the hymnal with two large glue dots (on the spine)~so no damage to the cover.
Started layering embellishments ( most is hot glued on). Title: "His Eye is On the Sparrow". Typed it out and then used the label stamp by Jenni Bowlin to complete the look. The heart is by Avocado Arts.
I wrote a note and put it inside the Maya Road envelope and glued it to the Prima card.
Finished~it will look great on my coffee table!!!
