Try It Tuesday~just a fun post!!!

Every now and then you need to have a fun post!!! That is what this is~it is grouping, collecting and re-purposing things that I think are interesting.

This is an interesting collection of floral frogs.  I still pick them up when I can find them at a fair price, but that is getting harder and harder.  The adorable cards are by Jenni Bowlin Studio.  I think they add a nice touch~

I don't even know where to start on this.  I'm not sure what it is but I'll tell you what we {me and hubby} think they are~could be a brass door knob{but hubby doesn't really think it is} because it is stripped out on the inside.  Could be a gear knob for a standard transmission { did I just write that} wow, I'm amazing myself tonight~

anyway it makes a super cute holder for scissors.  I used Jenni Bowlin Studio chipboard buttons{ love those} to decorate and some Vintage Street Market Twirly Twine to decorate it.

And this is how I have been keeping my washi tape{yes, this is all I have} **sigh** but super cute look and stays all together.  I have several more of these spools so I will be getting more washi tape:):):) I'm sure of that!!

Spurs are on ~ I'll see ya soon!!!!

  5. Cute ideas! I was lucky enough to pick up a new flower frog while I was in Virginia at an antique shop! I love them! I need a square or rectangle, one, though, and a tiny one...I don't have those in my collection yet! :) It's fun to hunt for new types!

  6. I had no idea what the floral frogs were called until now. I picked some up at a garage sale for a couple of quarters over the summer. Now I know what to ask for! Love all your other treasures too.

  7. The frog display looks wonderful all together like that. If nothing else, those doorknob/gear shift thingies do make a great place for your scissors. LOL! Believe it or not, I have even less washi than you do. :)
