Try It Tuesday~Just use what you have !

Hi guys!!!!
I love creating with what I have.  I have an idea and just go with it~making it work as I go.  This is an vintage mail box front (brass).  I wanted to make an interesting piece of Christmas Decor.  This is what I came up with~
The music paper is vintage, as is the Christmas ornament and Scrabble tile.  The photo is by Tim Holtz, the envelope by Maya Road, the Snow Flake is by Basic Grey and a few extras.  The envelope collage is adhered with large Glue Dots ( that's all you will need)

Here is the back~
Take note of how the frame sits on the hinge.  Worked like a charm:) Perfect frame
 stand and so beautiful!

and these are the parts I used to make this~

One gorgeous vintage door hinge ~ washed in soap and water, dried with towel.

Brass mail box front and door hinge cleaned.

The inside is prepared with felt, as is the bottom corners
(so, no scratching the table or surface) that it will sit on.
Very fun project. Get those interesting things out of the cabinet and make something  so you can enjoy those cool things that caught your eye.

Epiphany Crafts and Heidi Swapp~ a great pair!!

Hi guys!
I have some scrapbook pages done using the, very fun, tools

This project is using the EC hexagon 25 bubble cap and the EC pennant 25 bubble cap with the September Skies collection by Heidi Swapp. Lovely together.  The title words are ink-able.  All you do is spray the words and it takes on the ink , leaving the word in white.  More customizing, just like Epiphany Crafts.

On this project I used the EC round 25 bubble cap as the camera lens.
A cute way to add dimension to your embellishment.

I also used some of the great Texture stamps by Darkroom Door.
Page Maps  helped with inspiration for these projects!  to see all four scrapbook pages
you can go to the Epiphany Crafts blog.
Hope to see you tomorrow for

Our Fall Garden ~ The Curtsey Boutique.

Hi guys!!
Looking forward to the weekend~hoping to get more projects done :)
I did this scrapbook page, back in July, for The Curtsey Boutique and I really love it:)

The paper is October Afternoon.  Our Fall garden did really good and the results were some delicious vegetables. The Kale was great for juicing :)

I took the library card envelope (Curtsey Boutique) and covered it with matching pattern paper by October Afternoon.  It made a cute embellishment pocket for the journal card and tickets.

Thanks for stopping in and have a great weekend!!!

Send It Clear with Clear Scraps~

Hi guys!
I have a Send It Clear card for you by Clear Scraps.
I added an extra special touch too!!

I used the Half Fancy Send It Clear Card .  I love the shape of this one!!!
The paper is adhered to the inside of the acrylic.  Making it easy to sign the card.
The extra special ~ I added a composition notebook with the card.

East to do, too!!!  This is the mini composition notebook.  Very easy to cover the front with matching pattern paper. I used the Scallop Frame by Clear Scraps to add to the front.

They make a cute set!!!
Thanks for stopping by~

Try it Tuesday~remember the tart tins?

Hi guys!
Well do you, remember the tart tins?
I always have a stock pile of these cuties.  So many cute little gifts you can make,
that  SCREAM ~ thinking of you.

You can buy these, all day long, at Antique Stores and re-sale shops.  I see them
for about $5 for a stack of them.
This is what I made with six of them~

The photo booth people are by Darkroom Door.  I love the faces :) I used twine, dried flowers and a saying.
I hot glued a magnet on the back.  These would look darling in a muslin bag (could even stamp on it) or a clear bag.  Even an envelope~

Would have loved to here the stories, these folks had to tell:)

Epiphany Crafts ~ custom embellishments!

Hi guys!
Had a great weekend, hope you did too!!
I have a couple of projects using Epiphany Crafts  Studio Tools.

I used the EC Butterfly 25 bubble cap.  I think the paper is Echo Park, not sure.
I don't have the cards to check.  I love how you can customize the embellishment by
using the EC Studio Tool.  A great way to use those small pieces of paper.

The cards are  about a 5" X 5" in size.  Great size to work with.

This is a cute set using the EC Oval 25 bubble cap, the EC Chevron 25 bubble cap
and the EC Pennant 25 bubble cap.
The cards are about a 3" X 3" in size.

Thanks for stopping by`
