Clear Scraps and those Mixers!

Hi guys!!
I'm home from Indiana.  I went with shingles and came home with them , too.   I never have had the shingles before so I thought I had pulled a muscle in my lower back.  I'm so glad I didn't know how much fun these were ~ NOT!!!

My turn on Clear Scraps today~
I used the Banner Mixers and the Clouds Mixers.
A mixer means the acrylic piece can also be used like a stencil, so it's like two for one.  Two ways to use the product:):)
I traced around the pattern paper (Jillibean Soup) and adhered to the acrylic shape with Zip Dry by Beacon.

The library card envelope is from The Curtsey Boutique.
I love the texture and dimension the acrylic shapes add to my layout:):)
Take a look in the Clear Scraps store for all of the newly released Mixers

Our puzzle piece swap~Craft Crossing girls!

Hi guys!!
Some of the girls at Craft Crossing (friends, customers, special peeps, teachers) got together and did a puzzle piece swap.  It was organized by Christy  Gilbreath (Collins Group Representative)
 for our area.
Here is the puzzle with all of the pieces done by me~this was my design:):) for everyone.  So each person got one of these~
The sayings are stickers by Cosmo Cricket.  I tried to match those up to the person I was making the puzzle piece for.  I even tried to match up the vintage ladies (by Darkroom Door) ~ Here is the puzzle with the pieces done for me, by the girls in the swap:):)
In case I forgot to tell you girls~I loved the puzzle pieces you did, with me in mind~

We will have to do it again~
Starting L-R 1st row~ me, Pam Sivage and Christy Gilbreath.
2nd row~Janice Nutt, Kristi
3rd row~Penci Petty, Pam Malatek, Sindee Glenn

Enamel ware re-purpose~ junkin' find!

Hi guys!!!
How about a quick and easy and super cute re-purpose (junkin')!!!
I found this for $3 and couldn't walk away. I have a pretty large collection of enamel ware but nothing like this~

I wanted to use it, not just stack it up with my collection:).
So this is what I did with it~

I put my crafting tweezers in the candle space and my used sponges (that I can still use)
on the dish.  If it get dirty, it will be easy to clean.
Have a great weekend and go junkin', it is good for the soul.
  It takes you back~
