Todays junk'n finds~

I had a great day today and found some very unique items.  Couldn't wait to share them with you, so here we go~  this is really cool!!!!

A glove form~love it!! It is some kind of hard plastic, not sure what but it will look great as a display piece for my altered art projects~I just need to make something:)

These are more props for photos~the old spools and restaurant ware dish **sigh** love it!!!  I was told by the sales lady that the big bullet the pic was picked up on some big ranch here in Texas. The guy had a bunch of them.  It dates around the late 40's.  Interesting right~I'm goning to put my FT paint brushes in it.  And the Scrap Book another cool piece I bought for the name, but it is book of humor~date 1940.

I went and meet and special friend and she had these for me~the crocheted gloves are amazing and the tin full of buttons **I'm speechless**:)

These were in the button tin~a cool dress tag and a girl scout button!!! Had a blast and the barn sale was a hit~until next year!!!

Junk'n finds~

I have been holding out on you~more junk'n goodies!!! Have I told you that  this is a favorite of mine ~junk'n!!!  Well it is!!:):)

Still looking for some frogs for some gals, I think they are on to me. There are no floral frogs in my neck of the woods but here is what I have found~old receipts, needle book, ice cream label, old button cards {love those} and the pic's ~ so cool!!!

Another needle book, old post cards {that are so funny} and some very cool vintage German Scrap.  This picture doesn't show then to well~they are almost like little Victorian art pieces ~ very lovely!!!  What have you found lately?  See ya soon ~ have a fantastic weekend!!!

Junkn' finds today~

This is a quick post ~had to show the brooch.  It is amazing!!!! I can just see it in the middle of some handmade fabric flower.  And the keys there are some really big ones in this group~must have been hotel keys.  The tart tins are all ready to go ~ good and rusty.  The amusement park tickets were a great fine. Those will fit right in with scrapbooking or altered art.  Sad to say no floral frogs this round but I'm still looking~ have some girls that would like them:) :)  Great day!!!!

Junk'n finds~

The weekend came and went way to fast!! Had a wonderful time with friends and family~ got in a little junk'in time too!!  They like to do that too!  This is what I found~ the blocks with mine and hubby's initials. Super cool find and the brass lock** Made In America** USA ~so love to see that.  A must have~

Hard to walk by this stuff~awesome pretties, for sure!

Old flash cards ~telling time.  I have a box full and will share with the first two people that email me with their snail mail {email is in side bar} ~ let's see who reads and who looks at the pic's.  I look at pic's {hanging my head~I'm very visual}

Junk'n finds~

I went on a mini junk'n trip.  Visited a store I hadn't been in. Thought you might be interested in what I found ~if not scrappy stuff will be up tomorrow:)! I got four of these old fans~they fold out and I love the images on them. So sweet~

Dominoes~gotta love those!!! These need a good cleaning but other than that they are in good shape!! The little muffin tin is a great find~I have plans for it!!

and this dictionary price $1 ~really ! That is what I said.  Great buy! I have a few things I'm looking for so I will be going out again next week. Have a wonderful Monday ~ and I'll see ya soon!!

I'm at it again ~

junk'n, that is.  Besides being crafty, I love to go junk'n.  My favorite is primitive "junk"( antique's) but lately I have really enjoyed finding unusual items for my scrapbooking layouts!!  I love to re-purpose something old into something useful again. 

I love old buttons~very hard for me to walk by them, this time I didn't!!!  In the jar of buttons was one dice that had "7 up" printed on it~could be to a game, but still very cool!!!  The jar had some old "bling" buttons in it ~those are getting harder to come by.  The scrabble game with the bag of tiles really put a smile on my face!!!  But wait.......................

the old keys!!!!! A steal at $2 each.  The chandelier crystals are always a favorite of mine.  This time I found some smokey grey~I can just see these wire wrapped for a pendant!!!  Last but not least  is floral frogs~I'm seeing less and less of these, I think all the card makers have them~anyway had a great time with one of my BFF~she is always up for a junk'n trip!!! Really, I'm not braggin' ~ just wanted to share !!!  Have a great weekend!!
