Yep ~this is the before picture. Just like it was given to me, from a sweet friend, right out of an old barn, mud daubers and all. My hubby cleaned it all up for me which was a really nice surprise. All I asked him to do was put wheels on it~
I also wiped it down really good and sealed it with a satin varnish, inside and out.
And here it is all loaded up with my Darkroom Door products. This picture is what made me organize my Darkroom Door products. I hope you find you a cool crate box and put some wheels on it, maybe a handle too. Yep I'm going to add a handle when I find a really neat one. Gives me something to hunt for when I'm out junkin'

What a beautiful find. I love the way you transformed and repurposed it. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteI love this! I found an old milk crate at a yard sale (wooden with metal corners and bottom). I would need to figure out how to attach wheels to the metal bottom panel. Thanks for sharing the idea!

ReplyDeleteoooo I LOVE that. I "borrowed" hubbies plastic ammo boxes because they are great for wooden alphas. Each has their slot. Your's has more character. Love that.
