Hi everyone~anyone in the same shape as me. I need to put all of my {4 piles of layouts} in albums~it is one one of my least favorite things to do. I love to create and don't wan to stop and put these in sleeves! I know that is terrible~
This isn't even all of them~I have some in the store { Craft Crossing} and I have 13 hanging in sleeves above my window ~my "scrappy" curtains. I am estimating over a hundred but not sure until I gather them all up and count them.
I use the American Crafts albums~green and brown and attach a year on the side and front. I have 10 of these and over 40 Creative Memories albums. I love looking back {and so do the grands}at the photos and remembering the moments!!! Would love for you to cheer me on in this endeavor and I will cheer you on~let me know when you have your albums full of your fantastic scrapbooking layouts!!

Tomorrow {Jan 20th} I will be up over on Helmar's blog with a project using Authentique and Kaiser, along with my Helmar!! Hope you will stop in~

Wanted to also share with you~I have been out of pocket, my dad has been in the hospital and I have been at my parents home helping out where ever I can. My dad is doing much better but a good friend of mine died Monday with cancer and I just found out about another close family friends death last night~ Blessing to you all!! See ya soon!!
You can do it, Connie! :) I use (and love) the AC albums too. I use four different colors and then blue for my parents memorial albums. I try to put my LOs into albums as soon as I've gotten about 5-7 done (I like to display them on a shelf for a while before "hiding" them away, LOL!)
ReplyDeleteI think putting my completed layouts in the album is my FAVORITE thing to do... because I end up flipping through the whole album with a smile on my face. You can do this... and you'll enjoy admiring each page all over again! Actually... I just bought a new album ( a brown one with dandilions on the front ) and can't wait to start filling it up with pages.
ReplyDeleteOh... and I just re-read your post. It's good to hear that your dad is doing better... but so sorry to hear about your friends. prayers for them ... and you!
ReplyDeleteHi Connie, waving hands- Yes, I am in the same boat. I have a huge stack of layouts inside a giant basket,and I really need to put them in albums too. AC albums are the best. Good luck!
ReplyDeletegood luck with that, i put mine away as i go only because i don't have the room to let them sit. i do sit and go through my books every now and then though.
ReplyDeleteOH boy, can I feel your pain, I HATE putting layouts up also! I think it's because even though I don't scrap in order, I like to see my albums in order.
ReplyDeleteLove Penny

I have several big three-ring binders I put all my layouts in. Thoughts and prayers during this time. big HUGS
ReplyDeleteThat's why I buy those 12x12 plastic bins at Michael's! lol!! I just put them in them and no sleeves required! lol! :):):):):):):):):):):)
ReplyDeletePraying for you and your family! {{{hugs}}}
You peeked in my craft room! I have layouts everywhere to organize and put away! I don't even want to start!
ReplyDeleteI hate putting the pages in albums too, so mine sit inside page protectors in a bin on the counter for far too long. But seeing them pile up is lots of fun - you have to be proud of all that scrapping you've done.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for the sad time you are going through. I pray for God's comfort for you and the family. I am thankful your Dad is doing better. I know he appreciates his wonderful daughter.
ReplyDeleteI do not like getting the pages in the book. I only do it once a year. I am finishing up my last book for 2011. Good luck getting your pages in the books.
