I took a break from a project I have been working on and made some cards out of my scrap bag. These are Mother's Day cards~love using my scraps, it's like free cards:):) Cards without cutting a sheet of cardstock~like I said free cards!
The ribbon is silk and worked perfect for these cards. I used the Darkroom Door Butterfly stamp set for my images!!! All I can say is beautiful! I have all sorts of ideas for this stamp set, so lovely!
For you local people CraftCrossing has a great selection of Darkroom Door products. The stamps are red rubber and the images are so clear when stamped. This set is fast becoming a favorite of mine~my fifth, I think........ Oh my!
I used the same idea that I used for the cards and made these tags. The flowers are glued on using Helmars Acid Free Glue. Takes no time to dry and keeps you working~love that! For you local gals CraftCrossing has Helmar Products on order. The glue will be in the house shortly:):)!!
These tags were fun to make and the butterfly has so much detail ~a clean stamped image everytime. I stamped extras and cut those out to add dimension to the cards and tags. A little machinne sewing adds interest to the cards and tags. And a little tip~when you don't have the right color of pearl for the center of your flower~ just color it with a sharpie, works everytime! Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you for Try it Tuesday~it's gonna be good!!!
