I saw this in Scrapbook etc. magazine and thought this would be so neat. Trying to capture the highlights of the year was harder than I thought. I used Bazzill cardstock and OA weathervane journaling boxes , buttons , felt ribbon and felt flowers. This was a fun project!! The supplies I used can be found at WWW.ACBaileyDesigns.com . My next post is going to be my top 10 favorite layouts of 2008, so stay tuned!! Have a great day!Tuesday, December 30, 2008

Just doing my part to keep you gals inspired! I did these early this morning (1:30 am) Yep late night. I love working with my old photos-brings me back to that time and place. I used Festive by MME and some scrappy Chrismas embellishments . I love ribbons and buttons and I was sure to use both. Ha, ha. Fruit Cake Yum!

Don't these look yummy! I just had to show the fruits of my labors yesterday. With a cup of coffee and a slice of fruit cake - It doesn't get any better than that ( well at least for me). A good friend in Anna, Illinois shared his famous recipe with me. I had to beat it out of him. I'll give you a hint, it has a wee bit of apricot brandy in it-but just a bit. Hee, hee!! Hope you have a great week and go bake something and then eat it!! It will make you feel better. Promise.....

more crafties
This is a beverage card that can be made very easily and attched to any beverage as a gift card. As you can see, I have been crafting this week. I love to craft and make something out of nothing. One of my favorite things to do. Most of these projects were made from left over paper kits and scraps. I hope you will get your scrap papers out and create. Have a great week!!!

Weekend Projects

My weekend projects are complete!! Yeah, I'm so happy. The top photo is so sweet. I did this layout for a challenge on AC Bailey. The second one is just precious - meeting the princess. All little girls dream of being the princess. Some day she will be. Trying to finish up on my Holiday shopping - almost there. Just a few items to buy. Hope these LO's have inspired you to do one more before Christmas. Have a great week!
