A Family Pennant with Clear Scraps~

Hi, Connie here with a family banner idea using the chipboard Pennant Banner
set by Clear Scraps.  I love the big banner pieces, really makes a statement:)

This was such a fun project and will be so cool in my crafty space.  I used the back
of the pennant to journal the photograph.  If I ever want to take the pennant apart, to
make pages from the photo's, that will be easy to do.

A Fall Banner with Clear Scraps and My Mind's Eye~

Hi !!!!
I have a Fall Banner to show you using the acrylic 5 piece Banner set by Clear Scraps.
Clear Scraps is partnering with My Mind's Eye this week, so I had some awesome paper's and embellishments to decorate the Banner with.
Take a look~
I had such fun putting this together.  The wood grain My Mind's Eye papers were perfect for this. They screamed Fall to me.  The trim is stripes of material with twine added.

The large letters were stamped using the script background stamp by Darkroom Door.
Loved the look it gave the letters. There is some Maya Road on the Banner too, but mostly My Mind's Eye and Clear Scraps.

Beacon 3-In-1 glue was used on the large embellishments.
The pumpkin and crow are Sizzix dies by Tim Holtz.

Try it Tuesday ~ a mini album!!

This is a mini  "purse" album I made for one of my grands!! I used Bo Bunny paper and added some "fun" trims and charms to the front. I painted about an inch in on the ring side with Claudine Hellmuth  pink paint.
I really like the look of painting the ring side instead of covering with paper ~ it breaks the pattern up nicely!
A close~up of the trims and charms!!

This is a close~up of the trims and charms used on the front!

These are the inside pages.  I added more trims and Primas, brads and buttons.  I used the tiny alphas to journal with.  The picture sizes are about a 3"x4".  Black and white and color photos were both used.

One of my favorite things to do is make something out of something that might be ready for the goodwill or doesn't have a use anymore~re-purpose it!!  I took these old view-master reels and cut them in half to make the top of my ice cream cone.  I added some red felt for the cherry on top and spelled out the word CREATE.  It made a super cute banner!!!

Here is a close~up of the banner!!  So for Try it Tuesday you have several things to try.  Have a fun ~crafty day!!! I'll be doing laundry and scrapbooking!!!
