Shell Bags with Clear Scraps!

Hi, Connie here with some ideas on using the 6" stencils by Clear Scraps.  I started with zippered canvas bags (pencil bag) and created a background using the Gel Press.  It is an easy way to get color to your project.  My inspiration was to create bags that could be used for shell collecting and also washed.   Another idea was for safe keeping of special shells.  So here is what I came up with~

Two different sizes were created to they make a good looking pair.  The Clear Scraps 6" stencils were prefect for this project. Worked well and the size fit.  Stencil the images on with acrylic paint and then wipe the stencil off with a baby wipe.   Works wonderful at keeping the stencils clean.

The Ocean Friends 6" stencil worked great with Circles 6" stencil.   The circles were enhanced with white acrylic paint by using a paint brush and circling the black circle image.  Love the white acrylic paint for this.  The fish were also outlined with white acrylic paint.   Buttons were added for dimension and color.

The word "FUN" was stenciled on the large bag and outlined with white acrylic paint.   That technique really makes the images and the word pop off the project.
