Hi, Connie here with a couple of cards using the stencil as the focal point. Clear Scraps has many stencils that can be made the focal point of the card or scrapbook page. Sometimes you just need that single image that will standout and look amazing. I think I can help you with that :) Take a look~
Using pattern paper a card is constructed along with a background. Half the work is done in creating a fabulous card. Now for that stand alone image that will explain the card to the recipient. I chose the flip flops from the 6" Beach Fun stencil by Clear Scraps.
Some embellishments were added to the flip flops along with the sentiment, buttons and twine. The flip flops were stenciled on white cardstock and cut out. I used Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalk ink for these cards. Stamps were used to create a border at the bottom of the card.
The anchor is on the same 6" Beach Fun stencil. I love the way the cards look and the process was not difficult. Stencils are a great tool in creating art. So many possibilities with one stencil. The 6" Beach Fun stencil has five large images that are great for a focal point type card like these. I hope you give this a try~
Thanks for stopping by~
