Hi everyone~I've been working with an old , large hotel key to make a necklace. It even has the room number, in large numbers, on the back of the key so I used the other side. I covered the flat top part of the key with Helmar's Gemstone glue. The key is brass **sigh** so it turned the key front green but don't the glue will dry clear.
I then attached my charms and cool stuff to my chain~the chain was found at an antique store ~it is so unique I had to have it!
The longest wait on this project was for the glue to setup up~I didn't rush it, a couple of hours and the buttons won't move around when you are attaching the charms!
The fabulous porcelain had is from Jenni Bowlin Studios!! This blog post is up Here if you want to view more details and a funny story. Thanks for stopping in today~{hubby's birthday ,too} Have a great weekend~ see ya soon!!!
