Try it Tuesday~material flowers!

Is this not the cutest flower ever~so much fun to make~so welcome to Try it Tuesday!!! We are going to make flowers, using Glubers as our base and material!

First you will need Glubers by Cosmo Cricket and material strips 2 1/2" strips wide by 44" long.  I don't sew ~ so I hope that is right.  This is a quilters round of coordinated fabric.

Fold the strip of material in half and sew a loose running stitch all the way down the fabric.

As you get to the end of the fabric start gathering it up~it will look like this ( so easy and fast) and did I say fast~ love that part and cute~love that part, too!!!

Then you are ready to start wrapping the fabric around the largest Gluber (3") until the Gluber is covered.

The  last thing I did was add felt to the back of the Gluber.  Then you can sew a button in the middle or what you like.  I ended up making three and they all turned out different sizes~so I think that the size depends on how tight you gather the fabric.

My niece wanted hers for her hair~so I sewed the bobby pin on the back, Sis is going to use hers as a pin and I'm putting mine on a tote.  So give it a go and have some fun!!  See ya soon!!
