The last one~really!

Hi everyone~this is the last one of the pocket pages I did for the "grands" art work.  The paper is by Authentique and I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry to hold the sides together.  I pulled out different punches and used them on the edges for decoration. The shiny blue metallic paper is by Vintage Street Market!!  These will fit perfectly in a page protector and then in my album they go.  I use the American Crafts top loading albums with rings.

Have a wonderful weekend and I'll see ya soon!!!

Another pocket page ~

/

Hi everyone~I'm staying with the bi-fold cardstock papers by Authentique.  Here is another example of how  easy these can be made.  I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry to secure the outside edges and then used punches and embellishments on the front!!  making a great pocket for art work or papers you may want to keep together.

I hope you aren't getting tired of these I have one more to post tomorrow then off to something new.
Have a great Thursday~weekend is just round the corner.

Another pocket page~

Hi everyone~we had a great Bunco last night~so fun!! These women have become great friends, I only see them once a month, but for the last 7 years!!  We need to celebrate that~there 4 original members and I'm one of them!!!  OK~ kitchen cleaned up and I'm ready to go!!!!
This is another pocket page using the bi-fold papers by Authentique.   I take Helmar 450 Quick Dry and glue the sides down, cut about 1" to 2" off the top and what a great pocket folder it makes to store loose papers in or in my case. my "grands" art!!

Love how the award badge came out!!! The red shiny paper is from Vintage Street Market!
I made one for each "grand"!! I'll be showing you a couple more of these in the next few days~I have been creating with Jenni Bowlin punchable and printable (hybrid) images~yes, I'm almost ready to declare myself a hybrid scrapbooker!!

And this, "the vintage blog series by Amanda Jones", has been taking up some of my time~so excited to be a part of this and can't wait for it to start.  Lots of people, that are crazy about vintage, taking part in this!!! Stay turned~

Try It Tuesday~bi-fold Authentique with Helmar!

Hi everyone!!! Today is Try It Tuesday~ I wanted to share with you the awesome bi-fold cardstock papers by Authentique. When you glue the sides ( Helmar 450 Quick Dry) it makes a pocket.  I made several of these for "grands" art work.  I have art work (which I encourage, by the way) all over every where. I can't bring myself to through it away, especially when it says "I Love You, Nini"~ I gotta keep it!!!!

I have made several so I will be showing all  of them in the next few days.  Hope you have a great Tuesday and thanks for stopping by!!! See ya soon!!!

My "Standard"~

Remember when I posted this picture.  What a great junkin' find!!! An original Standard stamp holder {you know the wooden kind like Tim Holtz use}.  Well I wanted to show you how I'm using it.  The prongs on it are sprung out, so it won't work as it was originally intended to so I tried this~

Actually it works great!! I had bought some more tissue tapes so I needed a place for them~

and then there is this Standard~

Still works like a charm~these were the office tools of the 50's and 60's!!! I remember sharpening my pencil on this when I was in grade school~all of us in a line, waiting are turn, getting are two pencils ready to start the day!!!!
