December Darkroom Door Challenge project~

Hi guys!!
The challenge for December's Darkroom Door facebook group is yellow.  Use yellow,
along with Darkroom Door stamps and or stencils, to create a project.
I created a set of cards using the NEW Succulents set.
I'm so hooked on this set. Love it!!!!

Three different colors, of  Distressed Oxides, were used to create
the background for the card.  The Succulent stamps were stamped, in random places,
on the card front.  Archival Ink by Ranger was used for this.

Twine and buttons were added along with the sentiment.
Supplies used:
Darkroom Door: Succulents, Brushed Sentiments
Ink: Distressed Oxide and Archival ink by Ranger
Silk (ink splats) by FSJ
Other: Buttons Galore & More and twine.

Snowflake Award Clip, for chips, with Clear Scraps~

Hi, Connie here to share with you a fun idea when taking chips or bagged treats to a party or to give as a gift.  The Snowflake Shaker by Clear Scraps comes in handy when creating a bag clip for yummy holiday treats!!  Homemade or purchased this will look so cute on the bags!!

Take strips of pattern paper and layer them, making an award badge. Ribbons, buttons, ticket strips all can be used to make the badge unique and personal. Place the Snowflake Shaker by Clear Scraps, at the top (after it is created) and attach with strong glue.

Using strong glue attach a small clothspin to the back, that is the clip that will allow you to clip the Snowflake award badge to a bag of chips or cookies.

Easy !!! Now the hard part~picking out treats to use the clip on!

I love the chip idea, goes great with a homemade dip to add to the gift.

This is easy to make and the Snowflake Shaker just adds that extra special pop to the Snowflake award badge.  After the chips are clipped, the Snowflake award badge will look great clipped on the Christmas Tree.

Supplies used:
Clear Scraps: mini Snowflake Shaker
Beacon
other: pattern paper, twine, buttons, ticket strips, embossing powder, sequin mix (for shaker), stickers and snowflake stamp with ink.

Christmas Time with Quick Quotes and Canon!

Hi, Connie here with a Christmas themed scrapbook page, using the Urban Oasis Collection by Quick Quotes, and my Canon iP8720 printer.  I had eight photos and wanted to use all of them on one page ~ photo strips, but with a twist!

The photos first had to be put in my photo program and arranged into strips.

All seven photos were added and then printed out. The focal photo was printed out seperately on Plus Glossy 11 photo paper by Canon.  The strip photos were printed on Pro Platinum 8"x10" photo paper by Canon.

I cut the 8" x 10" photo into two strips of photos.  Basically right down the center strip.

The strips are overlaped and the top strip has a tab, that was scored and adhered to the midddle top photo.  Be sure and score the tab, because that will make it fold up, to reveal the second photo strip underneath.

The focal photo is matted on red paper, from the Urban Oasis Collection by Quick Quotes, and adhered to the front of the page.  All that is left, to complete the page, is to embellish, title the page and journal moments.

Supplies used:
Quick Quotes: Urban Oasis Collection
Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalk ink: Navy and Barn Board
Canon: Pro Platatinum 8" x 10" photo paper
Canon: Plus Glossy11 photo paper

Other:
Scrapbook Adhesive dimensional foam squares
Beacon
stickers
winter embellishments
Buttons Galore & More
Divine Twine

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Holiday!!!

Ink: Distressed Oxide (4 different colors)
other:
white and kraft cardstock and buttons ( Buttons Galore & More)

But the coolest thing about these cards they were published in
