Bark Background Stamp by Blue Knight Stamps~

Hi there!!
Today I'm sharing my second project as
Guest Designer for Blue Knight Stamps. It
is called Bark BG and it is super fun!!!
Let me show you~

See what I'm talking about, it looks like real bark on a tree (actually is).
I used over nine products on each project.  I'll link below.

The tag is cut from the Tag Die.  I cut several at a time so I have them
on hand.  The Bark BG stamp is stamped on the tag and the colored
with Panpastels. The Stag is added from the Buck, Doe & Fawn set. 
The scenery at the bottom was added to lengthen the tag.  It is from
Birds ll and Eagles and Foliage set. The leaf branches are stamped and
die cut from the Background Branches set and then colored.  The sentiments are
 from Happy Any Day/One Line Sentiment and the Reverse Sentiments.
Add twine to the top.

The background for this card is the Mixed Media 1 Designer Paper.
The bird houses are hand cut from stamped Bark BG cardstock. The tree
limb, used as the bird house stand, is from the Chickadee in the Woods
stamp & die. I also added in the Birds ll and Silhouette Grasses.  The
sentiments are from Blessings/One Line Sentiments.  The leaf branches,
 on top of the bird houses, are from the Background Branches stamp & die.
All the adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Snowman by Blue Knight Stamps~

Hi there!!
Today I will start off August Guest Designing for
Blue Knight Stamps.  I will be sharing stamps from
the latest release.  First up is Snowman.  The Snowman
stamp also has a Die (sold separate).

The cards are created a bit differently by showing the large 
Snowman as the focal and the smaller Snowman to create a background
like pattern paper. Both super fun!!!!

To create this card I stamped the large Snowman on white
cardstock and colored with Panpastels then matted on
black cardstock and set it aside.  The card base was created using
 the Music Sheet BG stamp along with Distress Oxide inks. The
large Snowman panel was then adhered to the background.
I used dimensional adhesive for this. The sentiments are
from Wonderful/One Line sentiments and Reverse Sentiments. 
The stars are from the Mixed Media Numbers set.

On this one stamp the Snowman in random spots or make
a pattern using a light colored ink.  Then stamp the 
Background Branches leaving a space for the coffee cup.
Stamp and die cut the coffee cup and add some color to it.
I used Distress Oxide inks.  Stamp the coffee cup with the
small Snowman and color. Add the sentiments and berries
to the branches.  Also used is Wonderful/One Line Sentiments
under the Merry Christmas sentiment.
All adhesives are by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Darkroom Door July Challenge ~ Pen & Ink

Hi there!!
Today I'm sharing a mixed media tag using
the Pen & Ink set by Darkroom Door.  It is the 
July Challenge stamp set.

I added additional stamps to create the tag.  Darkroom Door stamps
all go together!! Love that so much.

The tag background is a mix of Distress Oxide and Distress inks.
I used Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch and  Walnut Stain.
The satin ribbon is stained with Walnut Stain ink and then
heat dried.  

I then stamped the images from the Handwritten Ledger set to
create a messy look.  I love how it enhanced the look of the tag
when the Pen & Ink images were added.  The Pen & Ink were
stamped on white cardstock, colored and then cut out. They were
adhered with dimensional adhesive.

Creating Mixed Media Cards with Tracy Evans Stamps ~Topflight Stamps!

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing a set of cards using the New
stamps from Topflight Stamps by Tracy Evans. I love them all!!

I created an ink mix for the background. I used Distress Oxide (
 peacock feather, iced spruce and broken china) and Distress

Ink (mowed lawn) for this. This is two different 
cards but created at the same time.  I just started stamping!!! I'm
using Dog Rose & Butterfly by Tracy Evans, AALL & Create/
Tracy Evans #994 and Paper Artsy/PS456 stencil. To complete the 

cards I splattered with white acrylic paint. 

Same two cards just more views and showing the
products I used.  The tag is added to the top left card. It is by Paper Artsy
EM150.  The sentiment words are EM149.

Retired is still good~ stamps that is!

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing a card using Mixed Media 1 Designer Paper by
Blue Knight Stamps.  This is the first paper set I did for them. 
I'm also adding in a retired stamp (it is a great filler stamp) called
Rejoice Always. It is a great background stamp.

I stamped on the designer paper using BG Branches, Buck, Doe and Fawn, 
and Mixed Media Numbers.  The flower, for the focal collage, is also from
the retired set Rejoice Always.  I stamped some of the images from
the Mixed Media Numbers set and cut them out, and then 
added a torn edge to them.  Going for a ticket look. 

Creating a collage cluster for the corner of the card.  The sentiment is
from the Reverse Sentiments set.  To complete the card white acrylic
paint is splattered using an old toothbrush.  Works great!!  The 
sentiment is stamped and then adhered with dimensional adhesive. 

This makes a great "art share" card!

A Chicken Tag Duo ~

Hi there!!
Today I'm sharing a  Chicken Tag Duo. 
A regular size and a gift size tag.  Better to show you~

Just a fun set of tags for that Chicken lover in your life.  Could be 
eggs or Chicken :):)  The tag is stamped using Tracy Evans products
in a mixed media style.  I used Distress Oxide inks watered down for
the background color.

Stamps I created with are from Topflight Stamps.  They carry a great
selection of Tracy Evans products.  Stamps used: Shadow Elements,
BG Elements, Feathered Friend and Dog Rose & Butterfly.  The tag is by
Studio Light from a few years back.  An oldie but goody!!

I can see this be used when you share a carton of eggs or on
a baked loaf of bread.  We have chickens and share eggs regularly so 
these stamps sparked my interest.  They are sold out at this time,
 hoping she will get more in.
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

One Sheet with Darkroom Door~

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing a "One Sheet" mixed media  
creation using a sheet of 12x12 cardstock.  Super Fun!!!
  I chose the New York Vol.2, Number Medley and
 Stitched Borders by Darkroom Door, as my background
  stamps.

I stamped these three sets, in random places, to create a sheet of
mixed media pattern paper.  The color is Distress Oxide inks.  I then cut 
the sheet to make card fronts.  I got 4 cards, A2 size, and 2 tags from the 
one sheet of pattern paper.

I also used the Lots of Labels set and Word Labels to enhance the card
fronts.  These are great cards for the men in your life, like perfect
for Father's Day !!

The tags are perfect for a personalized touch to a gift bag!!
I hope I have given you some ideas for Father's Day and check
out Darkroom Door. 

They are doing some fun stuff over there!!!
