Numbered Floral Card ~

Hi there!!
Today I'm sharing a card using the fabulous 
 MIXED MEDIA products by Blue Knight Stamps.
I call this card Numbered Floral.  It is a no fuss kind of card.

Products used: Background Branches, Mixed Media Numbers, Reverse Sentiments and
 Tell Me the Story/BG stamp.
 Instructions: Using a blending tool ink up tool with black (Archival)
 ink and in a circular motion add it to the center of the background stamp. Stamp in L
 corner of card front. Stamp Background Branches using three different images.
Inks: Cobalt, Fern Green, and Jet Black. Add number and sentiment.
 Speckle with black acrylic paint.  

All adhesive used is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

6" Art Share Bird Tags ~

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing a couple of 6" Art Share Tags. 
You know the ones that are fun to giveaway to friends
and art peeps!  I'm using some back
"in the day" products too.  

The tags are from Tim Holtz, the 6" manilla.
I used a mix of  Distress Oxide inks (Vintage Photo, 
Walnut Stain, Peeled Paint and Faded Jeans) for the
  background colors.  The same mix is used to color the
Dina Wakley/Scribble Birds. Remember those? Still love them.

Other stamp sets added to the tags are: Quintessential Quotes by
 Dyan Reaveley, Numbers set by Blue Knight Stamps, #690 set by
AALL & Create, Memory Planner by Master Piece and Ledger
by Creative Expressions.  Adhesive (3D Foam Strips, 3D Foam Squares,
and E-Z Runner Refillable Dispenser) is by Scrapbook Adhesives by
3L.

Darkroom Door October Challenge ~ Playing Cards!

Hi there!!!
Today I'm sharing my card for the October Darkroom Door
Monthly Challenge using the Playing Cards set. 

I paired this set with Fun & Games for a mixed media feel! Just turn 
the stamps, for a different look, when you stamp to the card
front.  I used Versafine/Onyx Black and then colored with the Distressed
Oxide inks.  

The ink is Distressed Oxide: Lumberjack Plaid, Rustic
Wilderness, Prize Ribbon and Fossilized Amber for
added color.

Catch of the Day with Darkroom Door~

Hi there!!
Today I'm sharing a NEW release stamp set by
Darkroom Door called Catch of the Day.  I love the
ocean and sea life. So peaceful! I created
two tags using the Catch of the Day Set and many other
stamps by Darkroom Door.  They pair together perfectly.

First thing for both tags is the tags were cut using the 8" Tag die.  This tag die
is amazing!  I cut a bunch of them and have them on hand to create with.

I cut a black mat for this tag (it comes with the 8" Tag die).
Both tags have a mix of  Distress Oxide inks /Blue tones. This tag 
is stamped with World Map BG and Number Medley.  

The Lobster, Shrimp, Crab (Catch of the Day) and
the Eclectic Small Vintage Label are stamped, colored
 and hand cut out.  They are clustered on the small label
 and adhered to the tag front.  Mesh plastic is added
 behind the small label cluster. Look real close. The sentiment 
is added using the Adventure Sentiment Strip.

The second tag is created the same way but using a few different
stamps.  The Fishing Net BG, Grid Texture Stamp, Number
Medley, Global Postmarks and the star of the show Catch of the Day
to create the background for the tag.  The Lobster, Fish, Shrimp and
 reverse sentiments were stamped, colored and hand cut out.

 The Fish, Lobster and Shrimp were sewn to the tag.  Kinda like
they got stuck in the net!  I used a needle and black embroidery thread
to achieve that look. The sentiments are from You Are Everything
and Celebrate Sentiment Strip.

All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Sea Shell Mixed Media Tag ~

Hi there!!!
Still got sea shells on my mind, (just got back from Florida).
Love walking the beaches with my head down :):)

This was a fun tag to create.  I added the color to the tag and then stamped
using the the watered down ink.  Look real close and you will see the
sand dollar image. 

The background is created by using Distress Oxide inks and stamping then

into the watered down ink.  Stamps used are: Gifts from the Sea by Gina K,
Sentiments and date are by Kerri Bradford (Block of Time), Paper Artsy sets
used are HP2401, ESN55, ESN61 and ESN48.
