Rainy day stamp carving~

Hi there!
Doesn't get any better than carving stamps and
listening to the rain.  Some how they just go
together.  I did seven more inchies that will be
great for art journal pages and card backgrounds.

Starting at top right and then down to the left are the names.
1. fruit
2. daisy square pattern
3. cat eye pattern
4. quilt pattern
5. wonky eyes/or wonky flower
6. star burst
7. scallop border

Here daisy square pattern and quilt pattern are stamped
every other to create a new pattern.

To come up with patterns I usually do the reverse of what I
have carved out.  The stamps look good stamped next to each other
by doing that.  I will have some examples of how they can be
created with soon.  I want to carve more leaf branches that would
be sized right for flower heads ~ my next hand carved stamp!

Thanks for stopping by~

Today I'm sharing a set of mixed media mini cards (perfect for gift bags)
using the E-Z Runner Grand Repositionable Dots Refillable Dispenser
over on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog.

As always I have all the details over on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L
 Blog here.
I'm using a really big stamp to make four mini cards from.  One sheet of
white cardstock will get 3 cards, I did four.
They go pretty fast and come in handy for the small gifts or
gift bags.

Junk Journal fun!

Hi there!!
Today I'm sharing some Junk Journal books I made using the
Designer Papers (exclusive to Blue Knight Stamps) and
silhouette stampsThe papers work great because they are
double sided. Two Designer Papers is all you need to
make one junk journal.
  The papers are sized too.
No cutting needed! Sign me up, I love easy!

The Designer Papers are stamped with silhouette stamps and a
sentiment.  I used the big words from the One Line Sentiment
series.  They are just the right size and so perfect for this. When the
front of the journal is complete I ran it through the laminating
machine to add a protective cover.  It is now ready to add the holes,
to bind the junk journal together.

The books are bound together using the bind-it-all machine.  You could
use o rings or clips also.  I added charms, ephemera and circle clips to the
outside.  These make really cute little gifts. And because they are
laminated they will hold up to the wear and tear of carrying them
in your purse or bag.

Inside page pockets can be created for the inside pages.
Just have fun with it!!  This project used no adhesive
and all stamps and paper are by Blue Knight Stamps.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed this project.

Stamp Carving ~ I did nine!!

Hi, there!
I wanted to share the stamps I carved over the
Christmas break (before I took a hard fall) ugh!!
I had a blast carving for two days, just me and
my Speedball!

I love to carve flowers, nature elements that I can use to create
tags or cards with.  The simplest design can be stamped
so many different ways just by turning the stamp.  I'll be posting
some projects that were created using some of these homemade
stamps soon.

Mix it up, don't be afraid!

Hi there!
I love to take stamps from different companies and create
with them together.  I love how most of the time
it works out for the best.

I'm using background stamps and stencils by Sweet 'n Sassy for
a mixed media tag.  The focal image is by Blue Knight Stamps.
I'm using Distress Oxide inks along with Archival/Jet Black.
Stamp the focal image first and then build the background
around it.  Works for me.

I'm using One Line Sentiments/wonderful. for the words on the
tag front.  The tag is by Studio Light from Topflight Stamps.

Here are all three projects using the Sled and Lantern stamp.
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Bring in the New Year with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L~

Hi,
Today I'm sharing an Art Journal page using the
awesome 3D Foam products over on the
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog.

I had such a fun time creating this page  My inspiration came
from the birds.  Sing Loud, Best Year Yet, hoping it
sticks:):)

First build a background for the page.  I use Distress Oxide inks.
Then decide what you want to say and how you want to
say it:). Always the hard part for me.  I look for inspiration to
get this part done. I found it in the birds.

Then the elements are stamped, trimmed and ready to adhere
to the page.  Added stamps and stencils to the background also.
I have all the details over on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L
Blog.  I hope you take a look and make a page for 2024!!
