Show Me What Matters Mixed Media Tag~

Hi there!!
Today I'm sharing a mixed media tag using products
by Creative Worship Stamps I love mixing the stamps
and showing how nicely they go together!!!

I used Distress Oxide inks, to create a fun mix of
color, for the tag background.  I layered some vintage trim
and used the Vintage Snippets to create extra borders at the
bottom, to lengthen the tag.

Other stamps used are Authentic Faith, Texture Tiles 1, Faith Wordfetti, Too
also Mindful Magnolias and Star Pattern Stencil.  The tag is hand cut
from scrap paper.  Waste not want not, right?
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Darkroom Door June Challenge ~ New York Vol.1

Hi there!!
Today I'm sharing a couple of mixed media tags using the
New York Vol.1 by Darkroom Door.  They are starting monthly
challenges using a specific rubber stamp set.  I just happened to
have the selected set (New York Vol.1) for June.  I had such a
fun time creating with Darkroom Door, it had been awhile.

All the information is here!!!

The background is created using a mix of Distress Oxide inks for a
messy look.  The images are stamped, over the background, using Versafine
Onyx Blk.  I use a heat tool to dry the ink faster. Other stamps used are:
Stitched Borders, Number Medley and Global Postmarks all by
Darkroom Door

The background is speckled with white acrylic paint.  I use an old
toothbrush to achieve this look, just add a little water to the paint to
thin it out.

All the details, for the monthly challenge, are here on the
 Facebook Group page/Darkroom Door
Community.

Looking forward to seeing what you create!
Thanks for stopping by.

Best Friends Mixed Media Tag ~

Hi there!
Today I'm sharing a mixed media "Best Friends"
tag using some of my favorite products.  I will list at
the end of the post.

I did a mix of inks, Distress and Oxides to get the worn, vintage look.  The tag
is stamped and distressed more, by adding washi tape and acrylic paint splats.
The paper doll (friends) is colored in with distress inks. I just used the ink
colors I had used for the background.

Supply list: Stamps: Blue Knight Stamps/BG Branches, Creative Worship/
Typewriter Keys Caps Alpha, Studio Light/Jennie's Mindful Sent & Wishes
and tag, Creative Expressions/Ledger Stamps. Inks: Distress, Distress Oxide
Versafine. Other: Tim Holtz/Paper Dolls, AALL & Create/washi tape.
Add the die cuts using dimensional adhesive, to the tag, along with the
sentiments.  Add a yarn tie and a button charm:)
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
It is hard to mess mixed media up, so I hope you will give it a go!!
