Meadow & Mountain card with Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi guys!
I've got a really vintage looking card to share today.
I love the look and so easy to achieve.

The background is Distress Oxides watered down.
I lay the paper into the mixture and then heat dry.  I repeat
until I get the look I'm looking for.  I use my Misti to align my stamp up
and then I'm able to re-stamp after the color is added to the stamped
scene. The water and Sunflowers are colored with Distress Oxides.
They perform just like watercolors!!

Creating backgrounds with inks~

Hi guys!
I have a couple cards to share using Distress Oxide inks and
Darkroom Door Stamps.  Creating interesting
backgrounds for cards is half the fun! The other half is
the stamping:):)
I used mixed media paper as the background paper.  I started
with two different colors of Distress Oxide ink and then
added a third color.  Water down the ink and run the paper through the
ink, dry with heat tool and then repeat until you get the look you want.
Tim Holtz has some really great tutorials on this technique on his
You Tube channel.

The stamped images are added next, colored (Distress Oxide Ink) and then
the background is stenciled. Easy technique!!!
The stamps (Darkroom Door) used in this card set is as follows:
Fine Flowers Vol.2
Lots of Labels
Fine Leaves
Warm Wishes

Brick Wall Stencil/ small

Art Hangers with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L~

Hi guys!
It is my turn on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog.
I have re-purposed project to share using vintage cloths
hangers.  I used the Crafty Power Tape to secure the vintage
photos to the front of the hangers.  The photo was an 8 X 10 mat
black n' white cut in 1" strips used for the background on the
 ART hangers.
There is a step by step tutorial on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog.
I hope you will take a look and make some.  The hangers are from a
resale shop but I have seen them online and in retail stores.  The vintage
photos were given to me but I have seen stacks of them at resale shops
reasonably priced.  Pattern paper would look awesome too!

Here is another look with ART attached to the ART hanger~
Keep in mind anything that can be attached to the hanger would make
an unique display piece.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you go junkin’ soon.
