RubberStampMadness Summer Issue 2023 ~

Hi all!
Today I'm sharing the Summer Issue of RubberStampMadness.
The magazine did an article on the One Line Sentiments by
Blue Knight Rubber Stamps designed by me.  The article is written
by Christina Hecht. She really captured my creative idea in this
article and I was thrilled to read her expressive words :).

They showcased three cards that I created using the
One Line Sentiments. One of the things I love the most about
these sentiment stamps are they are great for mixed media
types projects as well as card making. They were inspired by
Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.

Instead of using the stamp for single line sentiments I used
it as a background for images.  Meduims used are Panpastels,
Distress Oxide inks, Archival inks and acrylic paint.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will
take a look at the One Line Sentiments over on
the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps site and blog for
creative ideas.  Also go say hi to
Roberta and Cristina over on RubberStampMadness.
They have a great magazine with lots of
creative ideas for cards or projects.

Creating a Plaid Background with your Adhesive on the Outside ~ Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

 Hi!
I have been seeing this technique around so I thought I
would give it a try.  Pretty easy and loved the
results.  It is taking the E-Z Runner Grand Repositionable
Dots Dispenser
by Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L to create a
plaid look for the background of the card.

Basically you are putting the adhesive down and rubbing it off.
I have all the details over on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L
Blog.
I hope you will take a look ~ it's a fun one.

Wooded Lane with Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi!
Today I'm showcasing my last card for Fall using stamps
by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  This card is using  Wooded Lane
from the NEW RELEASE in August.  I also used
Birds II, Buck, Doe & Fawn and One Line Sentiments/lucky you.

I used a stipple brush and Distress Oxide inks to create the tops of
the trees.  You could use acrylic paints too!  The sky, ground and tree
trunks were colored with panpastels.  I highlighted the ground with
colored pencils.  The moon is masked off and then highlighted
with panpastels.  The deer family is added using a stamping platform.
That way I can re-stamp to get a solid color.   To complete the card
the bird and sentiment was added.

All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

One Line Sentiments/happy any day. with Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi!
My third Fall card, for Blue Knight Rubber Stamps, is
using the One Line Sentiments/happy any day. I also
included Buck, Doe & Fawn and Cute Koala.
I loved how this card came together~

The background is created with watered down Distress Oxide inks.
The card stock is run through the ink to create a messy background
for the card.  The leaves are stamped out on white cardstock, colored with
Distress Oxide and then cut out.  The leaves are from the Cute Koala set.
The Buck is from the Buck, Doe & Fawn set.  The One Line Sentiment
/ happy any day. is stamped on the messy background.  Using a stamping
platform makes for a great image.
The Buck is stamped on a piece
of the messy background and then punched out with a large circle punch.

The sentiment "let's go" is embossed with white extra fine
embossing powder.
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Train Tracks with Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi!
My second Fall card for October, using stamps by
Blue Knight Rubber Stamps, is Train Tracks I kind of
switched it up a bit~

I also have included Lampost, Rear View Truck and
One Line Sentiments/ happy any day.
in the design of this card.  I created a mask to put over the
train tracks while I was inking up the stamp.  The mask was removed
before the image was stamped on the card front.  The truck and pumpkins
(in the back of the truck bed) were stamped and cut out.
They were colored with Distress Oxide inks.  I used a stencil over the blank
train tracks to make it look like a rocky road.  The road was
colored with panpastels.  The sunset is created from a large circle stencil.

Adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L.

Tractor Card with Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi!
For the month of October I will be sharing Fall
themed cards using Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.
Today I'm using the Tractor set along with the
Bark Background stamp, Sloth (for the leaves) and
One Line Sentiments/lucky you. & happy any day.

The Bark Background was stamped with Archival ink and colored
with Panpastels. The leaves were snagged from the Sloth set, stamped
and cut out.  They were colored with Distress Oxide inks (watered down).
The Tractor is stamped out and colored with Distress Oxide inks also.
The little pumpkin, in the center of the sentiments, is hand drawn
and cut out.  I call it a little messy pumpkin  The sentiments used are from
 the One Line Sentiments collection.

The images are added, to the card front, and adhered with
adhesives by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

choose.

used the collage sheets as the focal of the cards and then
added stencils and stamps.

The top card the Tall Flowers small stencil was added to
the front along with some bits and pieces of collage papers.
I used the Global Postmarks and the Long Distance Sentiment

same manner.  I used the Take Flight stamp for the small
silhouette butterflies and the Adventure Sentiment Strip
for the card greeting.  I added white acrylic paint to the edges
of the cards for a distressed look.

Golf by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps ~

hi guys!
Today I'm creating with the NEWLY released stamp set
called GOLF by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps. You

 different sizes.  Pretty cool!!

The smaller boy and girl stamps were stamped randomly to create
a background for the larger golfer.  A sentiment and a sticker
were added to complete the cards.  These are quick and easy and this
same idea can be used for other silhouette stamps by Blue
Knight Rubber Stamps.

Adhesive used is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. Other set used

 Hi guys!
I'm sharing another stamp called Soccer from the NEW

two sizes.  You get four stamps!!!

over with Silhouette Rocks & Trees set.  Bird 2 were added in the sky.
I used  Archival ink (Watering Can) because I stamped

standout. The bottom card is created with
Distress Oxide and a couple of stencils ( Darkroom Door & Lavinia).
The soccer player is stamped with Archival/Jet Black ink
using a stamping platform.  The cards were adhered together

Hi guys!
I got to create with the newly released Row of Pencils Border Stamp
by Darkroom Door.   You can make 3 cards out of one image and
it is long enough for a 12 X 12 scrapbook page.  Very cool!!

I used the Brush Strokes Stamp set by Darkroom Door to create the
background for the cards.  Giving the look like the pencils are
writing:):). I used Distress Oxide inks and just mixed it up on the
colors.

I used Crafty Foam Tape by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to add
dimension to the stamped Row of Pencils.

Products used:
Darkroom Door: Row of Pencils, Brush Strokes, Sketchy Stars,
Number Medley, Alphabet Medley, You Are Everything, Lots of Labels
and New York Vol.1.
