Portrait Clipboard with Clear Scraps~

Hi, Connie here with another idea for the large Portrait Clipboard by Clear Scraps.  My idea was to have it display a scrapbook page, that at a later date, I would put on a 12x12 sheet of cardstock and add to my album.



The page fits perfect on the clipboard and will work great for a 12x12 scrapbook page. The clipboard is stenciled with the Doily stencil.  It is not adhered to the clipboard making it perfect for an album page and the clipboard is ready to display another creation.  A win, win !!!

Instructions~

Cut lrg piece of green paper to 8” x 10”.

Cut brown dot paper to 8 ½” x 11 ½”.

Stencil Doily on front in 4 places using StazOn ink/Brown.

Using the foam applicator (from stencil) dab on silver clip with StazOn ink/Brown.

Use StazOn Ink on the fence embellishment.

Corner round the bottom corners of the green and brown papers.  Adhere together.

Ink around all paper embellishments (lrg papers, 3x4 card and words).

Create cluster in the bottom Left corner.

Adhere fence, Doily and ticket to corner cluster.  Use foam adhesive or wet adhesive(Beacon) on the twine.

Title page and stamp out words or use words you have, to finish the word corner of the page.

Last thing to do is adhere the butterflies using Beacon .

Try It Tuesday~background stamps!

 Hi guys!

I love stamping a background and building the card around the background.  I try to tie the theme of the card with the background stamp I'm using.  That idea has really been fun and has got my creative juices going.:)

Stamp  Background (Gazette) on white cardstock.  Trim out.  Stamp two coffee cups on white cardstock and cut them out.  Cut out the center part of the coffee cup and use it as a mask, while stamping the Texture stamp over the cup.  Use a Stamp Marker pen and color in the flower and stem. Stamp on white cardstock and cut out. Stamp sentiment.  Create card.  Add Coffee Stain stamp.

 Here is another example of creating a background using a texture stamp~

Stamp travel coffee mug on Kraft cardstock. Cut out.  Stamp sentiment and cut out.  Stamp coffee beans on cardstock mat. Stamp stitched border down all sides of mat. Create card. Add corners and small ink splats.

The Ranch~with Quick Quotes!

Hi, Connie here with a scrapbook page using Joy Ride by Quick Quotes.  If you have eight photos, this grid design is for you.  Makes a fabulous page and it is easy to put together.

Instructions:
* Trim photos to 3.5"x 3.5"
* Trim JR400 to 11.5 " x 11.5" and adhere to JR400.
* Adhere photos three across and three down except for the middle row.
* Trim a 3.3"x3.5" square from JR400.  Add another square 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" out of JR100.
* Trim a 3x3" square for the center of the middle  row design.
* Add corners and chipboard.
* Title and journal (back of page).

Postage stamp and a bird card ~Darkroom Door

Hi  guys!

I have another super cute card using the Frame/ Postage stamp by Darkroom Door. Such a a great stamp :) ~ just look and you will see why~

Simply instructions:

Stamp on white cardstock using the Postage Stamp Frame.  Select the ink color of your choice.  Make a mask for the Postage Stamp Frame (stamp the Postage Stamp a second time and cut out the middle). Place the mask over the first Postage Stamp print and stamp the BG Fallen Leaves in the center of the Postage Stamp Frame.  Stamp out the leaves, Robin bird, sentiment and cut them out.   Stamp Script on Post card.  Stamp Special Delivery on Postage Stamp Frame.  Adhere to front of card.  Adhere leaves, sentiment and bird.

Try It Tuesday~ Memorabilia and scrapbooking.

Hi guys!

I have a scrapbook page I did with memorabilia a while back.  I wanted one page but I had lots of elements and no picture was taken when the memorabilia was collected. 

 Oh my!!!! 

My mind went back to my Shimelle classes and came up with this~

I layered the memorabilia, to flip up , making it so EASY to get all

 of this on the page.   The photo was taken later that night, same day and

 I wanted one of all of them together.  So it worked out:)

We were at the Children's Museum in Indianapolis, Indiana.  We were visiting Egypt and

 the grands had the opportunity to have their name written in Egyptian.

  Wish I had a picture, but this works.

Mason Jar full of Sea Shells ~ Darkroom Door

Hi guys!!

I have another creation to share using the new release Mason Jar from Darkroom Door.

Instructions:

Stamp Mason Jar on pattern paper of your choice.  Cut out and ink edges for shading ( Ranger Distress Ink).  Stamps out Sea Shells ( Archival/Ranger) using ink colors of your choice.  Cut them out and shade edges.  Stamp a few of the Sea Shell images inside the  Mason Jar.  Stamp the Carved Leaves and cut them out. Take a small piece of cheese cloth and wet it with a water spray bottle. Use Distress Ink to shade the cheese cloth.  Dry with heat gun.  Arrange the elements around the Mason Jar.   Adhere and add a little shimmer with a glitter pen.  Add sentiment.
