Christmas Tag Album ~

Hey guys!!
I have a really cute Christmas mini album ( done at Collins Group, Houston) with Dyan Reaveley made out of tags.
No kidding, super cute !!!!

These are those extra large tags  by Tim Holtz.  Smaller ones for the inside.
We used her stencils and stamps to decorate the tags, after we applied color, using the Dylusions Ink Sprays.
The inside pages with the smaller tags attached.
Hey, have a great weekend ~

Try It Tuesday~more than just a paper bag!

 Hi guys~
This is a class I took while in Florida last year with the Collins  Rep Group.  The mini was taught by Canvas Corp.  Fast forward to a month ago ~ I just finished it:):)
So happy:):):)

To make the album part you will need 3 medium size gift bags ( these are red) with the jute handles.
On one bag cut the handle off completely. On the front cover bag cut off the one that would be on the inside.  On the back cover cut off the one that would be on the inside.
You fold the bags in half~add pages, cut outs, pockets, clips etc.

This shows you the inside pages of my mini.  You can decorate anyway you want to.
Fun project and super cute mini when you get done.

Collins Group with Craft Crossing~

Hi guys~
I'm back from the Collins Rep Group Convention ( retail stores) in Houston.  I had a wonderful time and took lots of classes. I  did three scrapbooking layouts, a bunch of cards, decor piece and a "big" surprise.

These are some of the make n' takes I did. The manufactures represented here are Canvas Corp, Hero Arts, Maya Road, Elizabeth Crafts, Copic, Petaloo Flowers  and Graphic45.
I also did a Bo Bunny layout (forgot to take a picture).

Don't you love the flower pin.?  It was white and we misted it~
The card is with Copic. It was air brushed with the re-fill ink:):)

The Christmas tree card is with Elizabeth Crafts. Her glitter is just the best.  Stays on the card not your hands:)  The card in the back with the Star cookie cutter is Maya Road.  I took a class with them and learned way cool trim techniques.

The card in the middle is with Graphic45. It is using their big tag.  It is beautiful.
I have already thought of several things I should have taken pictures of so I'll do another post on this soon. and a BIG thank you to Pam at Craft Crossing for letting me tag along:)

Missed you guys, but had lots of fun (if you call getting your leg caught in the table cloth and twisting your knee) :):) and learned even more!!!
This Friday is~
so be ready!

Always learning something~

Hi everyone~ this is a fun project I did while in Florida at the Collins Group Convention.  The class was taught by 7gypsies and Canvas Corp.  I learned several new ways of distressing your paper.  One way is to fold it in 4ths, back and forth~it gives the paper a worn look and easy to tear pieces { to make a peeking window} that shows your underneath paper.  Curling the tips and corners is another way to give the paper an aged feel.

Some of the other girls in the class stamped all around the wood box~I loved the look  but never had a chance to do it to mine.  Next time, right~
The ribbon is by May Arts~learned how to crinkle and mist to get the color I want.  All you do is wet your ribbon {I used a spray bottle} and then I ran in through some pink Inka-Gold by Viva.  Scrunched it up and then let it dry.  I'm sure there are many ways!!!!

Thanks for stopping by today~I have lots to show you!!! See ya soon~

Hello~don't you love it!!!

Hi everyone~ This is a a card I made using a telephone die from Sizzix.  Doesn't it go perfect with the retro phone from the 60's?  The pin{clipped to the wooden spool} is a typewriter die from Sizzix also.

I know I'm going to have to get this Sizzix die~it seems to be calling my name.  I wonder why!!!!
This was the make n' take for Sizzix at the Collins Group Trade Show.  It sold me on the die !!!

Have a great weekend ~ I've been junkin' so pictures to come next week!!!
