Bird Cage mini album~Clear Scraps!

Hi !!
Yesterday I was up on Clear Scraps with a Bird Cage mini album.   It is much more than meets the eye
( always is, right):)  I have collected saying, words, special thoughts to put them in a special book.  This project was perfect for that.  Favorite mini, favorite paper and favorite embellishments!!!

This  Bird Cage chipboard album comes with five pages, the inside three, I covered with paper
( JBS/Wren) and the front and back cover I sealed with matte sealer.  I clipped the front cover and the first page together, so the pattern paper would show through.  On the front cover I clustered embellishments, using my favorite things and colors.

I added a couple library card envelopes (Curtsey Boutique) to several pages.  As I collect saying I will have a place to stick them in.  I used Beacon/ Fast Finish Decoupage and 3-in-1 for adhering the embellishments to the front cover.

Would love for you to stop by Clear Scraps and look at all of the mini album , in acrylic and chipboard So many different styles:):)
Thanks for stopping by~

Darkroom Door~ Scroll Frame Card.

Hi guys!!!
I have a card for you, using the Scroll Frame Stamp by Darkroom Door.
Very cool stamp!!!!!!   I love how it frames out the small photo's while acting like a mat.

I stamped on Kraft Glassine paper by Tim Holtz and  Acrhival /Black ink by Ranger.
The paper came out of my scrap pile, but I'm pretty sure it is by 7gypsies .  The photos are by Darkroom Door called Photo Booth.  I love using them, so vintage!
The sentiment is stamped on using All Occasions by Darkroom Door.

The stars are resting on the mini rulers by Maya Road~just a little
 something for a special friend:).

The ceramic knobs by 7gypsies are used as a stand to balance the Star.

I love the photo booth pictures by Darkroom Door to help me tell the story of how special friendship is.
Every girl should have bestie's:):)

Try It Tuesday~ trying to get my spooky on !!!

Hi guys~
I have done three Halloween layouts and I'm trying really hard to be spooky but adorable and funny are more my style.  I'll show you what I mean:):):)

I did this one for Clear Scraps. The pumpkins, lamp post, hand and crow are cut out of acrylic, using a die-cut machine. The paper is by S.E.I. The little girl is what makes it adorable:):)

This a great example of funny.  My hubby told lets go for a ride, I want to show you something.  He never said a word and then I saw it.  Made him turn around so I could get a better shot of it. So fun!!!! The paper is by The Paper Studio, 7gypsies  and American Crafts.

This one is my challenge layout with Bo Bunny for September.  All products are by Bo Bunny.
Another example of funny!!!!

Darkroom Door and Sizzix~make a card together!

Hi everyone, Connie here with a fun and quick card project using Darkroom Door products and the Tim Holtz/Picture Wheel by Sizzix.

So get your supplies in front of you ~ photo booth, word strip, French Script Background Stamp and the Sizzix die.  You'll need ink too:):).

First run your Sizzix die through your Big Shot machine using white cardstock.  Then ink around the edges with black ink, for shading.  I use one that is really dry so I get a good shade, not a dark line.
Select photo's (from photo booth sheet) with two people.  You will need 6.

Then cut them apart, like I have shown in the photo.

Now for the fun part.  Use your Tim Holtz /Tiny Attacher ( best way) and staple them in the frame and then cut off the excess.

This is how the back will look.

And here is my finished card.  The size is  5" X 5" . on Kraft cardstock.  I stamped my patterned paper with the French Script Background Stamp.  Love that look!!!
Before you go, take a look at all the new stamps in the store:):)

This card is also on the Sizzix Blog (UK) ~ You can find it HERE.
