Mini Clipboard with Clear Scraps~

Hi, Connie here with a cute and simple mini Vintage Clipboard, by Clear Scraps, that is perfect to showcase that one special photo.  Let me show you~

Clear scraps_mini1_clipboard_c.mercer
Pattern paper was attached to the back of the clipboard, after the protective film was removed from both front and back of the clipboard.  Layer coordinating papers on the front, with die cuts and things of interest.  Chipboard stickers look great and add dimension to the project.

Clear scraps_mini2_clipboard_c.mercer
The chipboard word " Road Trip" by Clear Scraps was inked and embossed with clear embossing powder.  The word "Road Trip" was attached, under the photo, on the front of the clipboard with strong glue.

The clipboard is acrylic and very light weight, so displaying it on a small easel worked perfect.  Twine was added to the top clip for added color.  Already to give to my grandson!

Products used:
Clear Scraps: Mini Vintage Clipboard
Clear Scraps: Chipboard script word "Road Trip"
Beacon
other: pattern paper (to layer on front of clipboard), chipboard stickers, ink for shading, twine, embossing powder and ink.

Thanks so much to my sponsors~

Clear Scraps and Scrapbook Adhesive thank you for your generosity !!
I will gladly recommend your awesome product!
*********************
For my gift project I chose to create decorative clipboards using the acrylic 6.5" x 9"clipboards by Clear Scraps.  They can be personalized for the person you are gifting it to. I created three different styles, of how each clipboard can be unique!

Instructions:
1. Remove plastic film from front and back of the acrylic clipboard.
2. Select paper and cut to the size of the clipboard. (I traced the back of the clipboard onto the pattern paper).
3. Shade with ink and adhere to the Back of the clipboard.
4. Layer pattern papers, shade with ink and clip under the clipboard clip on the front of the clipboard.

5. Adhere layered papers together using the tape runner by Scrapbook Adhesive.
6. Embellish with tags, pattern paper shapes and adhere with foam squares by Scrapbook Adhesive.
7. Add photo.

8. Splat with ink spray to complete.
9. Add ribbon. (I dyed and distressed the ribbon I used)
10. Add charm and adhere wooden ruler embellishment with strong glue to the metal clipboard clip.
All three clipboards were created the same way, using these steps, only difference is the pattern papers that were used.

Try It Tuesday~ideas for using that junkin' stuff!

Hi guys!!
I'm late, but Tuesday isn't over yet.
I have some finds from a few weeks ago and a few of them I showed you
what I did with them. Hope you enjoy!!

This isn't a junkin' find, I made it out of resin but it is where
I put it is what I wanted to share.

Looks like a drawer pull, it is on with a magnet and will come off.  Love
how it looks on the desk drawer.
Ok,  junkin' stuff~

This is a small Formica clipboard $9.00.  I have others and I have used them as wall art~

Do you remember any of these?  Here is how they look on the wall~

***Love the look****

Next up is a child's loaf pan $2.50.  I have milk caps in it, saves me
from pulling the big jar down and looking through it for the perfect milk cap :)

Small square floral frog~ $5.00
Can't pass them up.

Game tokens $7.50. They would very cool on a junker necklace:)
The brass keys were .50 each. Thought they were cool.

Remnant piece of wool cloth.  Will make a beautiful flower.
