Canvas Tote Bag with Clear Scraps!

Hi, Connie here with a stenciled tote bag using nine different stencils by Clear Scraps.  Nine that is almost ten stencils.  Looks pretty cool, too and very fun to create.

Bagmm1

To create a tote bag all you need is stencils, acrylic paint, spray mists, modeling paste and acrylic spray sealer.  Add color to the bag and then start layering stencils using the methods I listed.  It is really fun and you can't mess it up.  Just keep adding layers of paint, using the stencils.  Overlap the stencils and make sure the paint or spray is dry before you add another layer.

Try It Tuesday~cleaning a Brayer!

Hi guys!
Remember these~

The watercolor paper was used to clean the paint off of the brayer
before picking up another color, when using the Gel Press.
  It was suggested at the
class to make cards from them,
so with the help of some Darkroom Door stamps I made five note cards.

All of the images are stamps by Darkroom Door.

Kinda of cool!!!
This was the Mixed Media class with Cheryl Boglioli at Craft Crossing that
I took a couple of weeks ago.  It was so fun and I learned some new tricks :)
Glad I didn't toss them!!

See ya soon~

Try It Tuesday~Mixed Media with Cheryl Boglioli!!

Hi guys!!
Thanks for stopping by for Try It Tuesday!
If you keep up with me at all you know I had Cheryl Boglioli at my house for a few days.
She taught a mixed media class at Craft Crossing.
I want to share with you the two projects I did.
I could really get hooked on this mix media mess :)

Front of  zippered bag.  The background was done using  a Gel Press and Deco Arts paints.
Stencils were involved too:) .

Back of the bag.

The next class was a canvas Portfolio.
Front view~
Stencils, molding paste, Deco Arts paints ~ no Gel Press on this one.
The paints are in spray bottles. Easy to make a background.

Back view~
This is a small tribute to my amazing "6".
Check out Cheryl Boglioli HERE~
