Button bag and button cards with Buttons Galore & More~

Hi, Connie here with the Buttons Galore & More design team.  I have a fun project to share using the Patriot Button Tote by Buttons Galore & More.  Inspired by the navy, light beige, deep red and white buttons, in the tote, I created a button bag along with button cards.  The buttons are beautiful and look gorgeous on the button cards.

The button cards were created using a button card stamp and beautiful buttons from Buttons Galore & More.  Each card has a sample of the buttons, that are included in the Patriot Button Tote. No card is alike, all different buttons. Each button is hand sewn, on the card, for easy access and future use. They are created just like the vintage button cards, well almost!   A great gift idea for a person that is crazy about buttons.

The burlap bag is stitched with some scraps of material and more buttons, after all, it is a button bag.  The button cards fit nicely in the bag.

The finished project with the cards inside the button bag.

Products used:
Buttons Galore & More:  Patriotic Button Tote HB 106

Other:
ink, stamps, burlap bag and scraps of material.

Summer cards with Quick Quotes!

Hi, Connie here with a couple of cards created with some summer fun in mind.  I used some paper scraps left over from the May Club Q kit.  I did some stamping and stenciling to create the embellishments for the cards.  The Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalk inks are so perfect for this!

Layers of paper were added to the card front.  The paper edges were shaded with Quick Quotes Powder Puff Chalk inks.  The ink adds great definition to the individual papers used to create the layers.

The anchor, on the card above, is from a stencil. Love the rich color you get from the Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalk inks.  You can determine the shade, light or dark, by how many times you apply the ink to the area being stenciled.

The flip flops are stenciled and the square embellishments, at the bottom, are stamped. Add a sentiment, buttons, twine and you have a created a fun card for the summer.

Products used:
Quick Quotes: May Club Q
Quick Quotes: Adventure Awaits
Quick Quotes: Clay, Jade, Bora Bora, Blue Lagoon and Midnight Confessions.

other:
Clear Scraps: stencil
Darkroom Door: stamps
Divine Twine
Beacon

Stampington & Co. Take Ten Summer 2017 edition~ 9 cards!!!

Hi guys!
I had some good news last month from Stampington & Co.
Nine cards (the most I have had published at one time) published in the
 Summer edition of Take Ten.

Take Ten is a magazine for cards that take no longer than 10 minutes to create.
These cards fit that description, fun and fast!

All Occasions set.
Darkroom Door: Happy Birthday set, Big Numbers, Simple Sayings and Frame/ Film stamp.
(magazine says Stampin' up) oops!
I usually use scraps of paper and start there.  Sometimes I don't have a paper name :)

Seaside card set.
Darkroom Door: Word Block / Seaside and Seaside Inchies

Camera Tag set.
Darkroom Door: Box Brownies and All Occasions.
These are tags, stamped on the fold to create the tag.
Very easy and cute :)
Thanks for allowing me to share. Have a great weekend!!

May tag with Clear Scraps!

Hi, Connie here to share my May tag using the Film Strip Chipboard embellishment along with the 6" Flourish Branch stencil by Clear Scraps.  The ranch is really green and I have been taking lots of photo's so that is the inspiration for the May tag.

I have prepared a collage showing the steps in creating this tag.

Cover the chipboard tag with pattern paper. I chose a newspaper print.  Use Black StazOn ink to add color to the Film Strip chipboard piece.  Add pattern paper behind the Film Strip chipboard piece.  Stencil background, using the 6" Flourish Branch, on the tag front and then adhere the Film Strip chipboard piece to tag front.  Finish by adding flowers, a butterfly and rhinestones. Add twine and ribbon to complete the tag.

Products used:
Clear Scraps: Chipboard tag
Clear Scraps: Chipboard Film Strip embellishment
Clear Scraps: 6" Flourish Branch stencil
other:
pattern paper, rhinestones, pins, twine and ribbon
StazOn Black ink and Beacon 3 IN 1

Try It Tuesday~ stamping mask!

Hi guys!
Thanks for stopping in for Try It Tuesday.
I'm creating with the Film Strip Border stamp by Darkroom Door (remember
I said you would see it again) and want to show you how to make a mask for your images that you don't want to get ink on while stamping.

I only wanted the tops of the ladies in the film section so a mask was
needed to block off the other areas. I'm using Little Ladies by
 Darkroom Door stamp set.

Instructions:
1. Stamp the Film Strip Border stamp on white cardstock with Black Archival ink.
2. Stamp a few sections of the border stamp on white cardstock and trim it out.
3. Cut the middle section out on the first frame.
4. Place the mask over the stamped border image.
5. Stamp the image, you want to be inside the frame, with Archival ink.
6. Continue this process until all 6 frames have a stamped image.  Cut the Film Strip in half.

This process gives you frame sections for two cards.
Supplies included:
Darkroom Door: Film Strip Border Stamp. Little Ladies.
Ranger: Archival Ink
Buttons Galore & More
