Hi guys!! Friday is here already.  I got tons of work done this week but still have more to do.  This layout was featured, along with others on the Casket (Scrapbooking store in Japan) website today.  It was on my Face Book wall too.  If you missed it you can find it HERE along with the other beautiful layouts showcasing Jenni Bowlin Studio.

I used the new products that were just released from CHAW 2013.  You can check out the JBS Mercantile to see all of the new fun products.  Just for fun here is a couple of screen shots of the Casket guest spot~

Junkin' ~ from friends!

Hi guys~ I wanted to show you some very good junk!!! Some way cool junk and some junk I'm not sure what I'm going to do with, but it is definitely good junk!!!  The two door knobs are beautiful! One is brass and the other one has a aged crackled appearance, that I adore!!!  The vintage tape measure is really, really old. It is worn thin and fragile!!  It will look amazing on something.  These were given to me by a dear friend (she is always finding something incredible for me to re-purpose).  Love that!!!

Here is another super cool find ( given to me by my mother in law).  She paid $2 for it a yard sale.  She thought I needed it and I do:):):),   just not sure what I'm going to do with it yet.  I'm about out of wall space, but it sure will make a great storage piece for crafty goodies**wink, wink**

The back is in bad shape so I'll have hubby look at it and see what he thinks !!!  The front door is really speaking to me~so I'll get back to you on these finds.  Be looking for a Remember this post soon~

Try It Tuesday~Raskog cart from Ikea**rocks***

Well what do you think?  Ikea is the best.  Love the kitchen cart by Raskog.!
Hubby put it together for me and stated how well built it is.  Good news!!!

It is holding all of my die-cut supplies and I was able to clear off more counter space for working.  I now can put 3 binders of stamps in the cabinet and off of my counter top!   Ikea was sold out of the turquoise color, so Grey it was~I really don't care about that:):):) really don't

One last thing~I special THANK YOU to Kerry Lynn Yeary for making me a watermark!! I promise to pay it forward!!!

Make your own kit ~ JBS!!!

Hi guys~good morning!!!!  I'm still half asleep so if I make a typo I'll be back on to fix it:):):) Hope you all had a great weekend.  Hubby took me to IKEA and I got the RASKOG cart.  I'm going to put my big shot and dies in it and re-arrange my counter top.  I'll post pictures soon.
This is a kit I made up to play a game on the JBS forum.  I ended up getting 5 layouts and 1 set of tags from it.

This one is using Haven . The butterflies have been cut out and placed like die cuts on the lay out.  The space where I cut them out at is covered up with kraft paper.

Here is another one using the tag paper.  I saved the original note from my granddaughter, to her "Grandy", where she is requesting donuts!!!   I love adding memorabilia to layouts!!!!

Avocado Arts~book sack!!!

Hi guys~this is my second project working with the Spring Medley set by Avocado Arts!!! I had such a creative time with these stamps.  The book bag is made from burlap.  All you need to do is cut the burlap the size you want to fit the book or other "treat".  I hot glued mine together on two sides but would have sewed if my machine had been working right:):)

I decorated a manilla tag using the awesome Spring Medley set.  This set has flowers that can be stacked, leaves that can be stacked and the "peeps"!!! Love those!!!  I added a button with a lapel pin on the back and some green spring twine!!!  For more inspiration check out the Pit Crew girls~

Avocado Arts~Spring Medley!!

Hi guys~this is my first blog post for Avocado Arts and what fun I have had using the March release called Spring Medley!!!  I decided to make a lapel pin using the big rabbit in the set.  I stamped the rabbit on sticky back canvas and used water colors to color in the image.

I then cut the rabbit out and stuck it to the back of some pretty "springy" paper and then cut it all.
The flower cluster is done the same way.  I hot glued it all together and added a charm to dangle.

Here is how the back looks with the pin~

This is a fun set and all kinds of "pretties" can be made !! Stay tuned for tomorrow~ another idea coming your way!!!!
You want more, check out the Pit Crew~
