New life for a brief case~

Doing a little {just a little] cleaning out and found this WAY cool brief case that my father-in-law had given  to my husband ~he thought it would help keep my hubby organized not !!

Anyway hubby never used it and it is really cool.  So I decided to use it for my ephemera !!!  I'm sure glad I'm not speaking that word ~ always gives me trouble :):):)  Why can't we just say old stuff~

Cool file folders in the top~perfect!!!!  Did you notice it has snap to keep the old stuff in the folders?

 Nice and roomy too!!!

Love using vintage in my studio to organize!!!!

Re-purpose project and layout with JBS!!

Hi everyone, I'm setting up blog posts because I'll be taking a week off for the holidays.  This is some JBS work that I did that you can see more in detail HERE!!!  I used the new line Boy meets Girl.  So cute!!!!

I love to alter old stuff and make it useful again. So much of it has so much character, just like this vintage album page.

This is a clock face that was altered into {what I call } a wisdon board. Just little things I would like to talk to my grands about!!! :):) A reminder for me~
You can see this blog post HERE!!!

Cards and a book to hold them~

This is a project I did in Florida {Collins Group Convention}:) I just got it finished in time to give it to my mom!!!  The class was taught by Joey Otlo with Bazzill Basics.  It is a  card holder book, has pockets in it to hold cards for each month.

These are the cards that I made to put in the pockets, in the book.  The first one is a pop up card using the pop up die by Sizzix and the designer Karen Burniston.

This is how the inside looks with the pockets pages and the print out so you can add your occasion dates that you want to send cards on {or to}. These are Christmas cards but the idea can be tweaked with All Occasion or Birthday cards.

See ya soon!!!!
