Open Circles Background Stamp by Darkroom Door~

Hi all!
Today I'm sharing a card using the NEW Open
Circles Background stamp by Darkroom Door.
Such a great looking stamp!

The background stamp is paired with the Scissors and Crayon stamps
making it a fun mixed media "art/creating" type card. The background and 
all colors is distress oxide inks watered down and treated  like watercolors.
I love the look of watercolored images.

I love the beautiful mix of colors.  The card is splattered with
acrylic white paint.  I also added the Sketchy Stars, Abstract 06
and Make Art Sentiments to complete the card.

Enjoy Today Small Stamp by Darkroom Door~

Hi all!
Today I'm sharing the NEW small stamp by
Darkroom Door called Enjoy Today. 
The sentiments are great for art journal pages or
scrapbooking too.  Great size!

I used a tag and created a pocket using the NEW Sm. Vintage Label 
to hold bookmarks.  The project is simply made but great
to add to an inside cover of a book.  

Each sentiment strip is used for a bookmark.  I also added stamps from these
Darkroom Door sets: Sketched Borders, Vintage Office and Library
Books.  Distress Oxide is used to create a mixed media look. Acrylic paint
is always a fun element to add to the mix.  The NEW products can be found
HERE.   All the adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Messy Mesh Abstract Stamp by Darkroom Door~

Hi all!
Today I'm creating with the NEW Abstract stamp
called Messy Mesh by Darkroom Door.  It is a great mixed
media stamp to create with.  I worked up a couple cards to share! 

Both of the cards are created in the same way.  I used Distress Oxide
to create a messy mix for the card background.  The NEW  Handwritten
Ledger stamps were used along with the Messy Mesh stamp to add to
background clutter (my term) :):).  The paper dolls/Tim Holtz were added
and sentiments for adhered with the proper message. 


Stamps added are:  NEW Messy Mesh Abstract, NEW Made For You,
NEW Handwritten Ledger and Border Stiches.

Stamps added are: NEW Messy Mesh, NEW Snail Mail,
New Handwritten Ledger, New Made For You, Stitched Borders,

Dotted Circles Abstract Stamp by Darkroom Door~

Hi all!
Today i'm sharing a couple of cards using the 
Dotted Circles Abstract stamp by Darkroom Door.
I used bright Distress Oxide inks for these cards. 
The inks work so well for this type of card background.

Both cards are created in the same way.  A mix of
ink was used (like watercolor) for the backgrounds.
I then stamped over the colorful ink mixture to get
a fun mixed media type look. 

I love how the Under the Sea stamps worked with this design.
So perfect!! Also used on this card are the Stripped Rings Abstract,
 Enjoy Today (NEW) and Stitched Borders.

The blue tone oxides along with some purple and pink make for 
a beautiful background for Seashells stamps. Also used on this
card are the Shaded Dots Abstract, Abstract Faded Circles and
 Enjoy Today(NEW) stamp.

Thin Sticks by Darkroom Door ~ a card!

 Hi all!
Today I'm sharing another project using the Thin Sticks
Abstract stamp by Darkroom Door.  This time a 
card. Love to change it up!


I stamped strips using the Thin Sticks stamp and then cut them
into sections.  Each section was a different ink. I used Distress Oxide
 ink. The section were then arranged on the
front of a A2 card front and adhered down.

The Robin bird was stamped and then added along
with the sentiment for the card.  I also used Carved Leaves Vol.1,
Robin, Enjoy Today(NEW) and Stiched Borders all byDarkroom
Door. Love how the stamps go together. So easy to create with
them.
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Mini Marks Stamp Set by Darkroom Door~

Hi!
Introducing a NEW mixed media set by Darkroom Door
called Mini Marks.  This set is designed by  Rachels
daughter Zoe and it is fabulous and so is she.  I got to meet her
 a couple of years back.  

My inspiration for this was to use the
Mini Marks to enhance art journal images or
collage images. 

I created a background using the large circles stencil and some 
ink sprays. Easy!  Then I added in some Distress Oxide inks
for more color. Then the ladies from the Elegant  ladies Collage sheets.
Then I added the Mini Marks in random places. I also used the Butterfly,
Stitched Borders, Faded Circles, Number Medley and Small
Sketched Alphabet. 

I also paired the NEW You Matter Sentiments to the
collage ladies.  So fun!!! The sentiments are embossed and
 then added to a lady. The Butterfly is stamped directly on to the art
journal page and the "you" words added to the center.
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L.

Three Tags using You Matter by Darkroom Door~

Hi!
I have three tags to share using the NEW You Matter
Sentiment stamp by Darkroom Door.  It is lovely!!
You need this. The words are so perfect!!! 

I love these so much and enjoyed adding them to 
my projects!!!

I created a mixed media background for each ***pink tag***.  Yes, pink!!!
I'm an outside the box thinker here!!  Actually, it was what I had on hand.
I used Distress Oxide inks and the Sm. Brick Wall stencil and then
stamped randomly, using the Number Medley set and the NEW Mini Marks
 set.  The Sketchy Stars, Butterfly, Robin and Sitting Cat were
stamped with Archival black ink on white cardstock and trimmed out.
They are attached to the tag front with 3D Foam Adhesive Squares.
The sentiments are from the NEW You Matter Sentiments, embossed and
added to the center of the focal images.  Twine and material strips are added
to the tag hole. All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L.
So cute and will look great on a package or homemade goody!!

Clipboard Frame Stamp by Darkroom Door~

Hi!!
Today I have a couple projects to share using the NEW
Clipboard Frame stamp by Darkroom Door.
The stamp reminds me of a vintage clipboard so
that was the inspiration.  I use them to showcase
favorite photos and ephemera.

.
 I have all sizes, of clipboards,
 hanging on my wall so it was easy.  Love them!

First project ~ a tag!!!

 This is a mixed media style tag using many stamp sets
by Darkroom Door, to get a messy background.  I'm using
Distressed Oxide ink in the blues & brown tones.  Blue and
Brown look great together.  The Clipboard is stamped out with 
Distress Oxide also. The grunge marks are added using
Archival black ink by Ranger.  Sets included are:
Clipboard (NEW)
Vintage Office, Number Medley, Faded Circles and
You Matter (NEW).

Second project ~ card.

I'm using the Layered handwriting background stamp as
my background for the clipboard frame stamp. It is matted
on black cardstock. The Clipboard (NEW) is decorated with the Number
Medley stamp set and the Small  Wildflowers stencil.  Also added is
 stamps from Vintage Office and You Matter (NEW) Sentiment
stamp. The girl photo is from the Elegant Ladies Collage sheets.
