Library Books Set by Darkroom Door~

Hi guys!
I have  another NEW release stamp set by 
Darkroom Door. It is called Library Books and it  
is so cool!!! I love the library card image :):)

I created two projects using this set. 
card no.#1

This card is created using Distress Oxide inks and Distress
Archival inks.  It is very mixed media and has a distressed feel 
to it. I used several sets of stamps and just kept adding 
layers of color to achieve the "look".   Other sets used are:
Labels, Grunge Marks, the NEW Faded Circles, the
 NEW Sm. Sketched Alphabet and Sketched Numbers.

project no.#2

I created book mark tags from the library card stamp that is in 
the Library Books stamp set.  I used Distress Oxide ink and then
splattered with water to give the ink running look.  The Labels
set was also used. Easy and cute!!!
All adhesive used is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Coastal Pines by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi guys!
Today I'm sharing cards made using the Coastal Pines stamp
by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  It is an easy stamp set to work with 
and is universal for any occasion. 

The top card, the background is created using Alcohol inks
and then the image is stamped over it using Stazon ink/ Black. A
word sticker is added along with the bird from Birds 2 and you have a
quick and beautiful card.
The bottom card is stamped on white cardstock using a stamping
 platform (to make sure you get good coverage from the silhouette stamp).
A stencil is added over the card front. Color is added with the
 Day/Night panpastels.  The sentiment is stamped and added to the
card front.

Wild Waves Background Stamp by Darkroom Door~

Hi guys!
I have more NEWLY released stamps from 
Darkroom Door. This one is called Wild Waves Background Stamp. 
So wavy and  so cool looking!

I created one card with this stamp and also added another 
New release quote stamp called Wild as the Sea
Quote Stamp.

This card is colored with Distress Oxide inks and highlighted with
white acrylic paint.  The fish come from the Under the Sea Set and are 
colored with Distress Oxide ink watered down (like watercolors).
Edges of card are smeared with white acrylic paint for a distressed
look.
Adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Hang Tag with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L~

 Hi guys!
Today I'm sharing a Hang Tag using Simple Stories
pattern paper and Crafty Foam Tape 54' by Scrapbook
Adhesives by 3L.  This tape is thicker, so it is
perfect for this project.

These are easy and fun for the kids!!
I have all the details, plus step out photos along with a 
tutorial on how to cut the hang tag over on the Scrapbook

Artsy Squares Collage Stamp by Darkroom Door~

 Hi guys!!
Darkroom Door has released a bunch of new stamps
and guys they are fab!!!!  I will be sharing
my creations over the next couple of months.
I got to work with the Artsy Squares Collage Stamp
 and it is so retro in design.  Love it!!

card no.#1

This card is created with Distress Oxide inks and the NEW Artsy Squares stencil
for the background.  The stamped image was cut a part and added to the
card front with dimensional adhesive. I also used the NEW Faded Circles
for a mixed media look.
Other stamps used by Darkroom Door are the NEW Small Sketched
Alphabet and Being Creative Quote Stamp.

This is a fun one!  I stamped the image on heavy cardstock twice and 
colored the squares with bright Distress Oxide inks.  I stamped over the
 design using the Number Medley Set.  The quote is the NEW
Creative People Quote Stamp.  I had extra Artsy Squares, from trimming
the card front down, so those were added in random spots on the card
front.

All adhesive used is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Pine Cone Swag by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

 Hi guys!
Today I'm sharing a card and a DIY project using
the newly released Pine Cone Swag stamp by 
Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.

The top card is stamped over a mix of Alcohol inks using an
Evergreen colored ink. The pine cones are highlighted with 
white acrylic paint.  The swag is speckled with white acrylic paint.
The sentiment is from the Christmas Koala set.  The card is
matted using dimensional adhesive.
The treat bags are fun and easy!!!
Stamp the Pine Cone Swag on a large sheet of white
cardstock leaving enough room to fold the cardstock over. Score 
the card above the Pine Cone Swag and fold over.  Cut in
half and fussy cut (leaving the fold intact).  This will make two
treat bag toppers and you only stamped one image.
They are colored with Evergreen ink and panpastels.
Adhesive used is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
