Winter Cardinals by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi guys!
I have a couple of cards to share using the Winter Cardinal
by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  This is a newly released stamp.
Guys, it is gorgeous!!!! We have Cardinals
here on the ranch, so this stamp was a must have!!!

Card #1
This is the card on the left.  I used Panpastels for the sky (clouds)
and coloring the scene.  When I was finished I decided to redo
the Cardinal on the fence from a him to a her.  Easy to do that, just erase the
color.  Then recolor with grey.  The snow and fence have Pixie Dust
for added sparkle!!
Card #2
This card is created using Distress Oxide inks.  I treated the inks like
watercolors. I used white acrylic paint for the snow on the fence and
tree.  Added a tag at the top for added interest.

Same Design, Different Cards ~ Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

Hi guys!
It is my turn on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog.
I have a couple cards to share that have been embossed
with WOW Embossing powders.  One card was created vertical
and the other horizontal. Same elements just flipped the design
and direction of the card.

I have a tutorial on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog with
all the tricks.  Really no tricks, just flip the direction of the card
and repeat the process.
Vertical look~
 Horizontal look~
Once you do the first card the second one goes fast. All your are doing is switching the direction and placement of the embellishments. It is a fun one and I hope you will give it a try!!

Foot Bridge by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi guys!!
I have a couple of cards to share using the newly released stamp set
by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  I really love the Foot Bridge Stamp.
The Reeds and Ducks Stamps (from last Friday)
works great with this scene.

Card#1

The card is stamped on mixed media cardstock and then colored
in with Panpastels. Panpastels are easy to work with and so
forgiving.  A white artist eraser will fix any mistakes~just erase
and start again.
This is how I started, water and sky in first.  I created a mask for the sky
using a small circle punch.  I laid it on my sky area and colored around it.
I then took it off and added the yellow sun.

Card#2

This card is stamped with Sketch Blue Distress Ink.  The sentiment is
stamped with Archival / Jet Black ink.  The card front is matted on a deep
blue cardstock.  The reeds (from the Reeds and Ducks
stamp set) are added in both bottom corners of the card.

Reeds and Ducks by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~

Hi guys!!
I have a couple of cards to share with you
using the newly released Reeds and Ducks by
Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.   This stamp not only makes a great lake
scene but is also awesome for patches of grass in a
ranch scene.  Very clever!!!

Both cards are created with Panpastels.  Very easy to mark off your card
to create the water and sky.  I used the Cloud stencil to assist in
creating white fluffy clouds.

The Reeds and Ducks are stamped on a stamping platform so the silhouette
images can be re-stamped several times for a rich dark image.
Card #1
The second card is created in the same way.  I did not use a cloud stencil
just brushed straight across the card front for the sky and water.

Different shades of blues, to add waves in the water, were added.  Highlights were
added with red, orange and yellow Panpastels for the sunset sky.

Card#2
Blue Knight Rubber Stamps products: Reeds and Ducks, Birds 2
and Mini Greetings 2. Panpastels and Cloud stencil
Other products used: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, twine,
mini staples and cardstock.
