Remarkable Woman ~ A card with Quick Quotes!

Hi, Connie here with a card for that special Mom in your life.  Mother's Day is fast approaching and Quick Quotes has some great paper collections that will make great cards for that special person!  I used the Chiffon Collection to create this one.

More of the Floret Collection by S.e.i.

Hi, Connie here with a scrapbook page using the Florets Collection by S.e.i.  I love the deep blue color and gold color paired together in this collection. It looks very manly, making it perfect for my photograph. Let me show you~

The round decorative paper was created using a punch.  The flower box was created out of the Pillow Box by S.e.i.  All you do is cut the Pillow box in half and round the bottom corners.  The flowers, from the Floret Collection, are clustered around the top of the Pillow Box.  I can't forget the Tumble Dye/Black, great for adding the paint splats!  Quick to dry and great look.

A simple and quick scrapbook page, that is announcing Spring is here!  Don't those chairs look amazing? So comfy!!

Try It Tuesday~ a gift and a find!

Hi guys!
I have a couple of cool things to share ~one was a gift and the other a find.
Let me start with the gift~

Tones Bros. Des Moines, Iowa
I'm still thinking on this one. The lid is the best part:)
I love the idea of flowers, but that won't show off the lid. so I'm still thinking on this~
****************************
Remember this cupcake holder I found in Indiana~

I'm using it to hold my glitter.  Sometimes the glitter would get knocked over and land
on the floor, so I'm hoping this will solve that problem.

The glitter still shines in the old salt & pepper containers.
Small glass jars are ONE of my weaknesses:)

I can always find a way to use cool items.  This is plastic and very retro
 looking to me.
I paid $5.

Fine Flowers by Darkroom Door~

Hi guys!
I have a card set to share with you using the, newly released, Fine Flowers by Darkroom Door.  This set compliments the Carved Flowers Set by Darkroom Door.

Instructions:
Stamp the flowers on white cardtstock using black or brown ink.  Color in the flowers using chalks.  Spray with Fixatif (so chalk won't smear).   Mat on coordinating  cardtstock and then add to card front.  Speckle with black ink or a similar product.  Stamp sentiment on coordinating cardstock and cut it out.  Add to card front.  Add sparkle mist to flowers. This is a great design to make a set of cards for gift giving.
