Try It Tuesday~ Seashells with a vintage twist!

Hi guys!
You remember those "gone junkin' Friday" finds from last Friday~
here is a few ideas I can up with.
I have had Seashells on the brain lately, so that is where I started.
I took the glass dome and added a vintage drawer knob to the top to make a Cloche.
I used 527 multi-use glue by Beacon to adhere the knob.  Added a word to the shell.
**Inspiration**

I took the chick feeder and added extra shells to it.  You might recognize
the small jar on top.  Here is a better look~

Same idea as a snow jar ~ but I used shells and a special word.
**discover**

A look at all the fantastic colors in the Seashells!

I also bought this stamp set of Seashells by Darkroom Door ~
I'm thinkin' it's time to use it!!

My Salvaged Treasures~thank you!

Hi guys!
Did you see this on Facebook August of last year?  I saw it but it didn't sink in
that it was a feature :) ~ If you love re-purposed, vintage finds, you
need to check out My Salvaged Treasures.
Betsy has it going on~

It started with this bucket, that I had given my dad, years ago (mom gave it back),
so I decided to paint it and use it for magazines.

Thank you Betsy for the feature.  Love your blog and your eye candy.  Did I mention
 she has an Etsy too!
Check her out~

Try It Tuesday~ Burlap pins!

Hi guys!
Time for Try It Tuesday~
I have made these burlap pins before, but I really love arranging embellishments into
something pretty:) so I made them again.  This time they were for a school fundraiser.
BTW~ they look awesome on a denim shirt !

The burlap flower is by Canvas Corp.  Other embellishments are by
 Maya Road and Prima.

Mostly Maya Road and Prima on these two.  I think they make the
best embellishments for this type of project.
Hot Glue to put them together!

When you make these, just use what you have~all of those bits & pieces
work great for this. Just tuck them in to make a cluster!

I'm working on a really fun project, so see ya
next Tuesday~should be ready by then:)
I also did some scrapbooking, really!!!
See ya soon~

Clear Scraps~acrylic boxes!!!

Hi guys!
This is one of my favorite new product from Clear Scraps.  The acrylic boxes!  They come in several sizes and they are stunning.  Here's what I did with the small one~

I put a, sweet little, bird nest in the acrylic box and added
 very little embellishments.
I wanted the acrylic to SHINE!!!

The boxes come flat and you snap them together with a little wet adhesive.
Not a problem to assemble at all.  Beautiful !!!
