Winter Farmland by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps~ cards!

Hi guys!
I have a couple cards to share using the
Winter Farmland stamp by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.
This is one of the
newly released stamps.
Card #1~

The Winter Farmland stamp is a winter scene, so it has lots of snow
in the scene.  The snow part (white) of the stamp is colored with a white
crayon, to form the resit when I add color to the scene.  I stamped with
Archival black ink on white cardstock.  The barn, sky, rock wall and tree are
all colored with distress oxide inks watered down to act like
water colors.  I used white and red acrylic paint to add a love note to
the bark of the tree.  Pixie Dust was added randomly for sparkly snow!!

Card #2~
I created a background using two different colors of distress oxide ink.
I layered the colors by heat drying after each color was added.  I let the
colors puddle on the paper and then heart dry.  I love the color rings it
creates.  I then sprayed with water (reacts with the ink) to leave a
distressed look.   Really love it!!!!
Both cards are adhered together with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Grunge Borders by Darkroom Door~ Art Journal pages

Hi guys!
I have three projects to share using the Grunge Borders stencil by
Darkroom Door.  Love this stencil so much!!!! Adds great texture
and interest to any project.
Art Journal page #1~
The background is created using acrylic paint, vintage text paper and the
Grunge Borders stencil.  Random areas are highlighted with a white gel pen.
The Patchwork Butterfly / Collage stamp by Darkroom Door is
colored or not colored with the "crayon resist technique". This is the
You Tube video I watched.  So good and easy!!! Rachel did this video

ten years ago!!

Art Journal page #2

The background is created using Distress Oxide inks.  Layer the colors,
one at a time, dry after each color and then introduce the next color.
Add the Grunge Borders stencil and the Large Script stencil and
highlight with a white gel pen. The Birdhouse and Birds are stamped
on mixed media paper, dipped in Distress Oxide ink and then trimmed out.
Images were added with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L's foam squares.
Lots of Labels, Fine Leaves and Everyday Life were also used on this
Art Journal page.
Project #3 ~ card
The background for the card is created with Distress Oxide inks and the
Grunge Borders stencil.  The card front was cut in half and the adhered
to the card base and then to a folded card.  The Take Flight Stamps was
used to complete the card.
