A Scrapbook page with Clear Scraps products!!

Hi, Connie here with a scrapbook page using stencils and the Life Is Good chipboard word title embellishment by Clear Scraps.  These are so fun to create with.  They can easily be painted, inked, embossed or just leave them bare, with no color.  They look great anyway you want to create with them.  Clear Scraps has a large selection of title words to choose from.  You can find them here.

Title word1_clear scraps_c. mercer
The chipboard word title was embossed using a powder that looks like sand.  Nice touch!!!  The nautical shapes at the bottom, of the scrapbook page, are created by stenciling the shapes on pattern paper (using ink) and then cutting them out.  Thought these sets (Ocean Friends and Beach Fun by Clear Scraps) were perfect for a cute border at the bottom of the page.

When adding color, to the stencil, you can use more than one color.  I love doing this technique.  It gives the images shadows that add dimension to the image.

Products used:
Clear Scraps: Chipboard Title " Life is Good", 6" Beach Fun Mascil and 6" Ocean Friends Mascil.
Other:
Embossing Powder: Emerald Creek/Dirty Sand
Paper: Three Bugs in a Rug
Ink: Ranger
Scrapbook Adhesives / foam squares

Thanks for stopping by~

Eight photos~

I finished my 4X6 Photo Love (Shimelle's class at 2 Pea's) over the weekend.  I used eight 4X6 photos.  It was kinda of tricky........ but what a treat to get it done!

This the first page a 8X12.  I used 3 Bugs in a Rug pattern paper.  The cardstock is Bazzill/Kraft.  I cut images out of the paper as my embellishments.  I wanted to just use the what came with this set.  I had stickers and the pattern paper.  If you are interested in this sketch you can find it here on Shimelle's blog

I used some Helmar Zapdots also.  Look to the left and you will see that the page protectors are sewed together.  The first one you cut the size of your layout.  In my case that would be a 8X12.  The second is a 12X12.  That keeps the event all together.  Brillant!!!  I even added his scavenger hunt map !!!

The title is on the second layout but it looks like it is on the first page~the 8X12.

It is not to late to join in on this free class sponsored by 2 Peas in a Bucket.   Next month it will be nine 4X6 photos.  I can hardly wait~before the class is over we will do twelve 4X6 photos!!! Hope you enjoyed this and if you are around this Saturday ~meet me here for the 2nd Annual Fisk-a-teer's Orange Blog HopSee ya soon!

more 3 Bugs in a Rug/Butterfly Kisses

This is a very bright, colorful paper pack. Full of flowers, butterfly's and dragonfly's. Very little embellishments are needed because the paper has it all. I added some trim and cut out flowers and adhered them over the original flower on the paper for some dimension. That is a easy tick!!
On this layout-I used some ric rac and added some buttons! I just wanted to share how easy this paper pack was to work with. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day full of all kinds of fun stuff!!

3 Bugs in a Rug/Butterfly Kisses

This is a new paper pack from 3 Bugs in a Rug. I love the "springy" feel to it. The flowers were cut from one of the papers in the pack. I love it when you get free die cuts!! The butterfly is from Maya Road and just so you know AC Bailey has this pack in the e-store. Go check it out!!
This is a challenge I am hosting on AC Bailey. No die cutting machine allowed-just scissors, thread, buttons, ribbon and one vintage element.
GO check it out-It's not to late. Hope to see you. Links are in the side bar.
Have a great day!!!
