Bazzill & Joy Clair ~

Hi guys!
Joy Clair and Bazzill Basics are joining together to make some beautiful
projects we are also hopping along with the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.

I have created a card set using the newly released Coffee And Jesus set by Joy Clair
and some really cool pattern paper/cardstock by Bazzill Basics.

Simple in design, sometimes simple is just what you need. The Bazzill pattern paper
is folded to create a card base.  I used the reverse side to create a card mat.
The sentiment was stamped on white cardstock and then matted on the card front.

The travel coffee mug was stamped out and colored with alcohol markers.
The card was splattered with black ink and twine was added to
 the bottom of the card.

To create this card, the same steps were taken, I just reversed the paper colors
 making a cute card set.

Coffee Lovers Spring Blog Hop~

Hi guys!!!
So happy to be hopping with the Coffee Lover's people, Joy Clair
 and Bazzill cardstock.
Get your coffee and settle in, so much inspiration and we would love
for you to join in too! This is where you can find the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop ~

Create a card front using the textured side of Bazzill cardstock. Modeling paste was added, over a stencil, to create dimension on the card front.  A circle stencil was used to create a focal area for the coffee mug stamp.  The coffee travel mug was stamped out on white cardstock and then
trimmed out and adhered to the center of the circle.

Foam squares were used to adhere the coffee travel mug to the card front.
The travel coffee mug was enhanced with color using alcohol markers.
Leaf stems were stamped on the side of the focal circle.  The sentiment was stamped
on gray Bazzill cardstock and adhered to the card front.

The card front was double matted and then adhered to a folded gray card base.
Additional highlights were added using a rectangle stencil and black ink.

Pallet Art with Clear Scraps!

Hi guys!
It is my turn on Clear Scraps blog today.  I will be sharing a project using
the Mason Jar DIY Pallet Shape by Clear Scraps.
My inspiration was Spring.  Something for my front door
and that is where I started.

The pallet was painted with acrylic paint and the Our Home stencil by Clear Scraps
was applied to the center of the pallet.  The Bluebonnet flowers were
painted on freehand but a stencil would look great also.
Check out Clear Scraps stencils~ they have so many cute ones!

The Texas Wood Mini Shape Pallet was painted and the Bluebonnet
flowers were added.  It made a cute embellishment the jar neck.
All the details are on the Clear Scraps Blog ~check it out!!!

Try It Tuesday ~Tagging Family Heirlooms!

Hi guys!!
I started doing this tagging of family heirlooms
or just cool stuff you want your kids to know the scoop
about.  I had a stamp made saying: belonged to __________.
It will take me years to do this but I'm starting~
I used white tags and then stamped them with the stamp.  I wrote special
notes on the back of the tag, if I had anymore information.  On one of the
tags I wrote the story of how I got the item.
Not sure if my kids or grands will find this system helpful when the
time comes for my things to get new homes, but I'm enjoying remembering
the when and why of these special family items.
Kinda cool if you ask me~

Check out this Gem with Paper House Productions~

Hi guys!!
I have more to share from the Stargazer Collection by
Paper House Productions.  This is such a beautiful collection.
Using the Gemstone papers I created this scrapbook page
of my granddaughter experiencing the Indiana Page Program
for a day.
The border papers were used to create a focal for the page.  The
gemstone border paper was highlighted by trimming around the stones.
The papers look so real and doing this really showcased the gemstone
border paper.
The cute mini banner was very easy to create using the Night Sky Paper in
the Stargazer Collection. This collection is full of craftiness!!! The sky is the limit.
All the details, on this project, are on the Paper House Productions Blog.
Check it out~

I've got one more scrapbook page to share~
This was created using the left over scraps from the Stargazer Collection.  I had a few
cardstock stickers, a sheet and a half of paper.  This is what I came up with~

This is a good case for "don't  throw the bits and pieces out"

Joy Clair and The Cutting Cafe ~

Hi guys!
Joy Clair is partnering with The Cutting Cafe this month.  You will see some really cool projects created, using cutting files and Joy Clair stamps.  I had the opportunity to create with the Assorted Bag Toppers set.  The file comes  with 8 assorted bag toppers, 4 assorted bags and 1 LARGE bonus topper.  I printed out, on cardstock, the images that I wanted to create with and then hand cut the image out.  If you have a cutting machine, no worries ~ The Cutting Cafe has you covered.

The products pair together perfectly!!!  The bags and toppers are very easy to work with.  The bags were stamped with Joy Clair stamps and then colored with alcohol markers and ink pads (Blessings box only).

These files were so fun to create with.  I have lots of ideas for these cut file bag and toppers file.  You could easily add candy, to the bag, and decorate with kids in mind.  These were created with more of a vintage style and decor (small gift item) inspiration in mind.

The topper was created using the top of the topper file by The Cutting Cafe and stamped with Easter Greetings by Joy Clair.

This one is using the topper file by The Cutting Cafe and stamped with Easter Greetings and Reckless Love by Joy Clair.  The images are colored using alcohol markers.  Each bag is stuffed with shredded paper and vintage bird eggs or a vintage velveteen decorative bird.

This one is stamped with different colors of ink, to create the background, for the bag. The stamps used are UH-OH Ink Splatter and Spring Stroll by Joy Clair. The bag topper, by The Cutting Cafe, is used as a handle for the bag.  Each bag is splatted with white acrylic paint.
