Remember this 'ol thang !!!

Hi guys~I'm home from Indiana!! This was the first time in a long time both of my boys and their families were in the same place at the same time.  It was a great celebration!!!!!!
I did do a little junkin' on the way home and I have already started re-purposing several things. I couldn't wait to craft:):):):)
So remember this~

well after I heard the story that goes along with this step stool I wanted to keep it
sooooo I re-painted it and added a stencil to the bottom step.

I think it would be darling with potted plants on it outside my back door:):)

I did tell you, I was a crafter before I was a scrapbooker and a painter before I was a crafter~just so you know.  I have done several crafty projects that I will be sharing along with more junkin' finds and some scrapbooking also.

Try It Tuesday~another photo stand!

Hi guys!!!  The topic today~ stencils!!!   I am just starting to get into this so I'm starting off with a small project { I have a chair I want to do next:)  I'm using the Maison De Stencils:):):)  Love the designs.  I had a hard time deciding what to buy~so many cute stencils!!!

I used a vintage spool of thread {saw this on pinterest}. I used black acrylic paint and  a flat fabric brush to apply the paint.  Don't fuss over this, just use what you have:):):).  This is a cute and easy little project.

I used painters tape, to keep the stencil in place.  The inside part of the stencil has glue dots to hold it in place.  Worked good like this.  You will still find yourself  holding with your fingers.  It took a couple of minutes to apply the paint.  just up and down motions, don't try to paint it on.

The paint dried very fast.  I stamped a tag, added May Arts ribbon and a picture!!! Yep another photo stand.   I love making them.

And here are just some of my photo stands all lined up and looking cute~

Any unique item makes an adorable photo holder.  Hot glue a clip, cloth's pin. paper clip, etc. to your item, that you want to hold your photo, and you're all set.
