Fabulous odds and ends~

Hi everyone~I have been super busy being crafty and unfortunately I can not share yet ~ but I can't wait!!!

I do have some projects that I did for Ready, Set, Create that I have not posted ~This is sweet little bird house set~the paper is by Cosmo Cricket.

This is a journal I did using Jenni Bowlin, Tim Holtz and the ink is by Clearsnap.  I added trim and the bird is embossed ~ hard to see that though.  Fun project, almost ready to use it!!

This one a gave away as a birthday gift to one of my favorite peeps!! The flower is stamped out {Wendy Vecchi) and painted with Clearsnaps Smooches ~very fun!!!  The paper is  by g.c.d./Melody Ross.  The butterfly is by Jenni Bowlin.  Thanks for stopping in today~I'm looking forward to seeing the "grands" this weekend and my kids.  Much to do ~ but I'm taking a rest! home.SWEET.home~

I decided not to let all of those pictures, I took yesterday, go to waste. I should do something with them~well this is the something I did.    I created a collage of all the pictures, using Picasa.  The paper I used is g.c.d./Melody Ross~Artsy.Urban!!  Love this paper... It is an inspiration all its own.

The large butterfly is flocked ~so cool!!!  These photos are of some of my favorite junkin' finds and crafty finds~they provide many hours of inspiration for me.  This layout will look great in my "scrappy" place and continue to inspire me in many ways.  Just a side note ~ I had several comments on the church bird house.  My hubby built that for me for my birthday many years ago.It is signed and dated by him~a one of a kind piece of art.

The jadeite dishes are my favorite color~my mom and mother-in-law gifted me with many of these. and one last side note ~ the cowboy boot is a children's size 3, I have one. I saved it from the trash!! It was in the bottom of a bag that came from goodwill~I felt like I hit the lotto when I found it!! Thank you for all of your kind comments~I loved sharing my home with you all.

The sweetest girls ever~

I need to be feeding chickens but here I am updating my blog~so this will be a short post!  This is another layout I have done for Ready,Set, Create magazine.  I used G.C.D./Melody Ross pattern paper *** sigh*** love this paper~wish I had got more~reminds me of her"old" Chatter Box line!!

Did I tell you I'm taking her Soul Restoration Class~it just started!! She really has got the Modge Podge thing down Lol!!! Love her art journals!!

This one I used Crate paper/Restoration on~another favorite line of mine.  Love the vintage feel of the design images and the paper~reminds me of "old" wall paper!!!  The Primas are wonderful **sigh** ~the new ones are amazing!!! Good stuff~

Well the weekend is almost over ~ I really hate to see it go.  I had a great class at Craft Crossing, met some really cool  people and spent time with some special gals!!!  I'm ready to do it again!!!  I have a couple of layouts to share ~ this one I used G.C.D./Melody Ross, did some fussy cutting from the butterfly paper. I loved the Jenni Bowlin journal rounds on this and the bright buttons added just the right "pop"!!!

On this one I used the same paper pack and added some October Afternoon splashes~the paper matches the G.C.D. Studio so well and how fun to mix manufactures!! The title is from Jillibean Soup and I sewed it on with the machine~so cool, love the look and the threads hanging!! And I can't forget the Jenni Bowlin journal card~love those dots!! The "milk cap" I bought on a junk'n trip.  I'm always on the look out for cool stuff I can put on my scrapbook pages!!  Have a great day and see ya on Tuesday for Try it Tuesday.
