Christmas in July with Blue Knight Rubber Stamps: Horse and Sleigh

Hi guys!
Here is my third card set for the
Christmas in July with Blue
Knight Rubber Stamps.  I'm creating with 
Horse and Sleigh. Such a fun silhouette stamp. 

The top card is created using Distress Oxide ink over the 
stamped image. The Ski Lodge is stamped with Archival 
Jet Black ink and colored in with Distress Oxide inks.
The Birds II stamp was used also to add a group of
birds above the mountains.  The Horse & Sleigh were stamped
on the card front using a stamping platform.
The bottom card is using the Matthew 1 background stamp to build
a background for the Horse & Sleigh.  The pine trees are from
the Chickadee in the Woods set.  The stamp was masked off 
so only the trees would stamp out. The Horse & Sleigh were stamped
on the card front using a stamping platform so the silhouette stamp
could be stamped several times to get good coverage.  The bird was added from 
the Birds II set and the sentiment is from the Winter Cardinals set.
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Christmas in July with Blue Knight Rubber Stamps: Winter Buddies

Hi guys!
This is the last Christmas in July card project.
Next month, more fun and creative card projects from
Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.
Today I'm creating with Winter Buddies.  It is a fun one
too!! 

The top card is embossed with black embossing powder and
colored with panpastels. The foliage is added from the 
Silhouette Cattails stamp and it is embossed also.  A holly berry is 
painted on the top hat of the snowman.  The sentiment is from

the Christmas Koala stamp set.  The bird is from Birds II set.
The card is speckled with white acrylic paint.  
The bottom card is embossed also and colored in with
panpastels.  The winter sun is a circle stencil and then I
use an eraser to remove the color.  The sentiment is embossed with
 red glitter embossing powder.  I used white acrylic paint on edges
 of both cards.  All adhesive used is by 
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Christmas in July with Blue Knight Rubber Stamps: Winter Farmland

 Hi guys!
Christmas in July is still happening
with Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  Today
I'm creating with Winter Farmland.  This stamps makes
a great Christmas card.

The top card is stamped with Archival Jet Black ink and
colored with panpastels.  What makes this card unique is
the rock ledge is masked off so the deer family could be added
to the card.  I used Buck, Doe & Fawn and Christmas
Koala for the silhouette deer and the sentiment. 
The bottom card is clear embossed and then shaded with
Distress Oxide ink/Stormy Sky. Two deer from the 
Buck, Doe & Fawn set were added along with
the sentiment from the Christmas Koala set.  This card
was speckled with white acrylic paint. 
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Christmas in July with Blue Knight Rubber Stamps: Away in a Manger

Hi guys!
Christmas in July is what is happening at
Blue Knight Rubber Stamps for the month of July.
  I'm creating with Away in a Manger. 

The top card is embossed with black embossing powder and
colored with panpastels.  A circle stencil is used to highlight
the manger. I used an eraser to remove the color.  Sentiment
was added to the card front.
The bottom card is embossed also and colored with 
panpastels. A stencil (Darkroom Door) was used to showcase the 
manger. The sentiment is from the The Light of the World stamp.
The background stamp used is Tell Me the Story of
Jesus.
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Christmas in July with Buttons Galore & More

Hi, Connie here with the Buttons Galore & More design team.  We are celebrating Christmas in July, with handcrafted ornament ideas, to create with the family.  Easy for little hands to make and show off, on the Christmas tree, or share with friends and family.   I created Candy Canes with big red, green and white buttons.  Easy for little hands to pick up and glue down.

These went pretty fast and are very kid friendly to create.

Instructions:

1. Create a pattern by drawing a Candy Cane on chipboard and cutting it out.
2. Punch a small hole, in the top of the Candy Cane, and place twine through for the hanger.  
3. Wrap the Candy Cane with jute, adhering to the top of the Candy Cane and the bottom.  Adhere big buttons to the wrapped Candy Cane with a strong wet glue.  Let dry. Add embellishments, if desired, to complete the ornaments.

The Candy Canes are wrapped with jute loosely.  Once the big buttons are adhered the jute is secure. 

Buttons Galore & More makes the cutest embellishment buttons.  They are called the Holiday Fun Collection.  Snowmen, Christmas Trees, Stars, Deer, Cat and Dog, just to name a few.  So fun, just like their name.   I sniped the shanks off and added the cute "Holiday Fun" buttons to the Candy Canes.  Paper Holly leaves are tucked in behind the "Holiday Fun" buttons.  These are also great for gift exchanges and teacher gifts.  A gift bag tag is another way to use these Candy Cane ornaments!   

I'm looking forward to adding these handcrafted Candy Cane ornaments to my little Christmas tree this year, mixed with some real Candy Canes.  That is sure to make everyone happy!!
