Sew Kind Of You Card with A Jillian Vance Design~

 Hi guys!
Today I'm creating with the NEW Antique Sewing Machine
 Die by A Jillian Vance Design. (blog).  I'm also using the Quilting
Stitches Background Stamp and the Sew Blessed Stamps. 
These are all from the new release.

To create this card start with the background.  That is the fun part :)
 I went with Distress Oxide inks, peach, sunset and brown tones. 
I stamped over the color mix using the Quilting Stitches Background
stamp using a dark peach color.  I then sprayed with water to give
the background a distressed, old look.  The Antique Sewing Machine
Die was cut on Kraft cardstock and adhered to  a 4" x 3" piece of
black cardstock.  Buttons and thread were added to embellish the 
sewing machine along with the sentiments.

Speckle with beige acrylic paint. I always use an old toothbrush.
Water the paint down and pick it up with the brush. Gives
an even speckle to the card front.
All adhesive used is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Happy We Are Friends Card with A Jillian Vance Design~

Hi guys!
Today I'm sharing a card using the NEW Sew Blessed
stamps by A Jillian Vance Design.   I have a tutorial up
over on the AJVD Blog today.  You can get all the 
details there.

This is really a fun one!  I show you how to create the flower,
used to embellish the sewing machine, from the Ornamental
Octagon Stencil.  So easy and CUTE!! The background was created
using Distress Oxide inks and the
Quilting Stitches Background stamp.  The birds are cut using the 
Feathered Friends Die with green cardstock and the Antique
Sewing Machine Die with black cardstock.
All adhesive used is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Sew Blessed Card with A Jillian Vance Design~

Hi guys!
Creating for A Jillian Vance Design and using
the NEW Ornamental Octagon Stencil along with
the Feathered Friends Die to make an easy and fun
mixed media style card.  

The background is created on a folded flat white cardstock base using
the Ornamental Octogon Stencil and blue tones of  Distress Oxide inks.
The birds are cut using the Feathered Friends Die along with
the word SEW from black carstock.  The flower is cut using the die
from the Classic Candle Die set, a Christmas set.  Works great for this
card.  The birds are popped up using dimensional adhesive.  The sentiment
is from the Sew Blessed Stamp set.  The flower is added along with 
a heart button from the Antique Sewing Machine Die, for
the center of the flower. 
All adhesive is by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Two cards, same products ~ A Jillian Vance Design

Hi guys!
I am guest designing for A Jillian Vance Design for a
couple more months. So fun!  I have a fun blog post up 
on the A Jillian Vance Design Blog creating with a
NEW cutting die called Anitique Sewing Machine Die.
It is two cards, created two different ways, using the
same products.

of creating two different looks with the Antique
Sewing Machine Die.
