June Challenge on Darkroom Door Inspiration FB page ~ Backgrounds!

Hi guys!!!
 I have been working in my art journal and just love creating pages!!!
The June challenge over on the Darkroom Door FB challenge page is
BACKGROUNDS!!! Create one~
The background was created using the Distress Crayons by Ranger.
The color was applied to the page and then I used a water brush to
even out and blend the colors.  Stencils and modeling paste were used for
added dimension.  Such a fun process!!!

Acrylic Paint

    Very nice. I've been wanting to try this but am too scared to try. No matter how many videos I watch I just can't figure out how to actually start.
