Try It Tuesday~detective work paid off!!

Hi guys!
I had a picture, that we believed to be my dad, that was
posted to a valley information board.
My mom saw the photo and was certain it was dad.  The photo was dated and
that was helpful in trying to figure out the story~

After talking it over with my Sis, we believe this picture was taken during the time frame of the Cuban Missile Crisis.   The picture was taken in Oct. 1961 and dad deployed a year earlier.
I vaguely remember this time.  I was 6 years old.

I have written the story on a journal card and included it in the
vintage library card envelope.   I also printed out information about the event
and tucked it in the envelope.

I loved how the, Joy Clair/God's Army, stamp set worked so well for this page.
  I loved the boot image!!

Supplies used:
Paper: Authentique / Natural Collection
Ink: Ranger Archival /Jet Black, Potting Soil and Fern Green
Scrapbook Adhesives foam squares
stickers

Thanks for stopping by~
