Quick Quotes and Canon ~ scrapbook page!

Hi, Connie here with a scrapbook page using the Mulberry Collection, by Quick Quotes, and my Canon iP8720 printer!  The photograph I wanted to scrapbook had been scanned from an original photograph and frankly looked like a scanned photo.  The Canon printer helped to give me a better picture.

Like I said before, this is a scanned copy.  With the Canon printer  I was able to add a border around the photo, so simple, but really cleaned the edges up.

The original photo was black and white, so no grey scale on the print out, just print out.
The second picture shows the border box and the program adds a border to your photo.  Love the border around the photo.

Printed the photo out on 5"X 7"  Photo Paper Plus Glossy 11.

Instructions:
1. Cut photo mat 5 1/4" X 7 1/4" and adhere photo.
2. Cut middle paper about 8" X 11".
3. Shade with Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalk inks and adhere slightly off the center of the paper.
4. Punch two borders and shade and add them to the sides of the middle mat paper.
5. Cut die cuts from selection sheet.
6. Adhere to top left, creating a banner.

7. Add twine and buttons.
8. Add title and journal.

  3. Wonderful layout. I love your photo. Black and White with the Purple is awesome. It really makes the photo the focal point. Great creativity.
