Hi, Connie here with my December Tag tutorial using an acrylic tag by Clear Scraps and some fancy Christmas paper. This is a cute and easy tag that will make your Christmas package look so very special!
Hi, Connie here with a scrapbook page, using the Winter Bliss Collection, from Quick Quotes! The pictures I used are really special to me and the Winter Bliss Collection worked great!
This page has three photos, two of which are hidden. To make the photo mat you will need to cut the paper 8 1/2" L x 4 1/2" wide. Fold in the middle. Adhere photos and ink around the edges of the mat.
To make the banner you will need a sheet of the Winter Bliss 1103 pattern paper. Cut a row of triangles from the paper and then snip the triangles off. Shade the small triangles with Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalk ink. They will really jump off the page. Use dimensional adhesive on every other triangle. Add the twine to the top of the banner. You can make the banner as long as you want, just keep snipping triangles!!
Journal and title the page. Add Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalk ink to the chipboard letters.
Here is the photo mat opened, revealing the other two photos. My heart skipped a beat when I saw them holding hands. Such a sweet moment and I was there to snap a photo. I added a tab to the mat, so it would be easily lifted for viewing.
Quick Quotes: Winter Bliss Collection **New**: 1103, and 1105.
Hi, Connie here with a tutorial on how I created these 3D Acrylic Christmas Trees by Clear Scraps. The 3D trees also come in chipboard too. I see them with pine cones all around, sitting in snow with a couple of deer hanging around. With that in mind that was the look I was after when creating these folk art trees.
*Remove the plastic film from the acrylic tree pieces. Each tree will have two tree pieces. *Assemble the trees. They slip into each other creating the tree. *I used a mat dark green spray paint to add the color to the trees. *The star was painted gold and then the trees were speckled with white acrylic paint They look amazing to me. Plain, cozy and comfy!! Looking forward to decorating for the holidays with these pretties!! Clear Scraps products used:3D Acrylic Christmas Trees
other: Forrest green spray paint, white/black acrylic paint and gold paint (for star on top of trees)
Hi, Connie here with a double page scrapbook project using Earth Wind Fire by Quick Quotes. This paper just so happens to be the pattern paper showcased in the Club Q kit for December. That is what gave me the idea to use Christmas photos with these papers. Let me show you~
Designer tip : The quotes look great cut apart and used as word strips. Designer tip: For a rich, bright color, repeat several times using the Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalk ink when adding color to chipboard pieces (star). Let dry a minute between applications of Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalk ink.
The second page I created will work side by side the top one~
Designer tip: Hand cut the Christmas trees from the Earth Wind Fire 101 (better known as the triangle paper). The lines make it really easy to cut them out and then add a trunk from a scrap piece of paper.
Hi, Connie here with the Creating Made Easy December kit by Clear Scraps. The kit comes with the cutest little tree mini album. I thought the mini tree's would be cute as gift tags, to dress up Christmas packages.
Here is a little tutorial on how they were created:
the image, of the tree, on the pattern paper it cut out. Do this for all 5
the plastic from all of the acrylic tree shapes.
the Moose (from the Rustic Forrest 6" stencil) with black StazOn ink.
around the tree image.
out mittens from the pattern paper in the kit.
the paper tree to the acrylic shape. I used Beacon 3-IN-1.
Hi, Connie here with the December Creating Made Easy kit by Clear Scraps. This is a fun one for sure. It has a 8x8 acrylic frame in the kit that can be dressed up or dressed down~I chose up!!
I will enjoy leaving this frame out, as Christmas decor, but once the holidays are over I will add the scrapbook 8x8 page to the center of a 12x12 page. I only have 12x12 albums ~ let me show you.
The acrylic 8X8 frame is ready to showcase another page or event. You can also add a magnetic strip, to the back of the frame, so the frame will attach to the refrigerator door. Everyone will see it there. This would work great at my house :)
Hi, Connie here a cute way to create some small Christmas trees using the Divine Twine by Whisker Graphics. Every year I create some sort of a small Christmas tree and these will look great in my collection.
Divine Twine by Whisker Graphics
triangle small pieces of wood
acrylic paint /green and yellow
chipboard small stars
Step 1: Paint trees with green acrylic paint on both sides.
Step 2: Paint the chipboard stars with yellow acrylic paint on both sides.
Step 3: Wrap the trees with Divine Twine. wrapping around and up and down. Tag with liquid adhesive when you are finished wrapping the twine. Cut from the spool.
Step 4: Decorate with rhinestones and buttons. Attach the star to the top of all three trees. Glue trees onto a vintage spool. Add Divine Twine to the spool and decorate.
Hi, Connie here with a fun and sparkly holiday tag, using the newMini Shaker Bell, from Clear Scraps! The Mini Shakers come in six shapes and images. They would make a super cute ornament set for the holidays.
The mini shaker is so easy to assemble and decorate. What you put inside the shaker is the fun part. Really, it is all up to you what to fill the inside with. I used decorative sequins in the Mini Shaker Bell.
