Clear Scraps and Imagine Crafts~ perfect together!

Hi guys!!!
Clear Scraps and Imagine Crafts are showcasing projects all this week and I just
happened in on all the fun~

My project is a Mini Tab Key Chain album.  I shaded the outside pages with the black StazOn ink and used the Film Strip Border for embellishments, on the inside pages.  I used irRESISTible Colored Texture Spray by Imagine Crafts.  I wanted to see and feel the texture!

I loved how it covered and  it was easy. It does leave a rougher surface and it looks like air
bubbles on the Film Strip. I let it air dry for 30 minutes.  I then cut the Film Strip border into
three sections and used them in the mini album.
Inside pages~

Robot strip is by Darkroom Door.

Here is sneak of the other project I have up on Clear Scraps~
using the same Film Strip Border, but with StazOn Ink.

Try It Tuesday~ The Curtsey Boutique & Darkroom Door, Muslin Bag!

Hi guys!!
Thanks for stopping by for Try It Tuesday :)
I have a project using those super cute muslin bags, you know the ones, they come in
all different sizes and have a draw string ~ I stamped one!
Take a look~
The embellishments are from The Curtsey Boutique and the stamp I used is from Darkroom Door.
I used Archival ink by Ranger.  I stamped straight on the bag.

The seam binding trim was dyed with Dylusions Ink Spray/Lemon Zest.

I thought this worked so well with the Burlap Butterfly from The Curtsey Boutique.
I added some homemade soap and had a beautiful ,handmade gift.
These are easy to make and really add to the gift by using this as the gift bag.

Try It Tuesday~The Curtsey Boutique and Bingo!!!

Hi guys!!
Thanks for stopping by for Try It Tuesday!! My favorite time of the week.
I took some old, vintage  Bingo cards and made a little notebook.  It is really cool to take things like that and bind them into a book~
The Bind-It-All comes in real handy for this:)

The cover embellishments are handmade by The Curtsey Boutique ( remember I told you that I would tell you when they are opened ~ they are opened:)) ****yeah****
Check out the Burlap Butterflies~my favorite:)

Also on the cover is a vintage slide mount.  I love the deep blue color around the edges.  The blue matched with the Bingo card perfect.

Darkroom Door~ Line Art Flower Lady

Hi guys!!
I had some fun working with the Line Art stamps by Darkroom Door.
The line consist of six ladies and each one of them is fabulous in her own way:).
This one is called Flower Lady~

I used chalks to color her and sprayed her with a Fixatif by Krylon.  It keeps the chalk in place.
The papers are out of my scrap bin so I'm not sure who made the beige polka dot paper~sorry!
I did two other projects that I will be posting soon but if you would like to see the projects now~ go to Darkroom Door's Blog

You can find the other ladies in the Darkroom Door Store.
Thanks for stopping by~

Hi guys!!!
I have a scrapbooking page for you today, done with beautiful, handmade
 embellishments from The Curtsey Boutique.

I'm pretty sure that the paper is Authentique ( gave this away as a gift) so I can't check.
I used a spray mist to add color to the background .  The date sticker was sprayed also, for color.  I love the splattered look!!!

The Etsy shop for The Curtsey Boutique has not re-opened, hoping it will be soon.  I want
to order some more handmade goodies:):)

Try It Tuesday~ Stamp Carving!

Hi guys!!
This past weekend all I did was carve stamps.  I did five of them, even made a sore spot on my finger.  I guess it was the way I was holding the Lino cutter, not sure.  It was still so worth it~
I thought I would share my process of coming up with something to carve.
I doodle in my sketch book first
(sorry, no pic on that) then I go straight to the rubber~

I then starting carving. Many classes out there on "how to" ~

and here is the card I made with these four.   The camera was kinda of tight to carve. I would like to try that one again or make it a little bigger. The circles around the lens were tough:)  The feather, I'll show later after I work up a card or use it some way.

After I stamped the card, I used a FT marker and outlined the images.
~make the most of every day~

Just  to share ~
the pin cushion baby shoe was a **winner***
&
a " feature"
These are both great places to play along with the fun challenges!
Thanks for stopping by for Try It Tuesday!!!
